Or maybe, just maybe any of those other silver or bronze medalists did just a little better. Or heck, for that matter any of the athlete's that didnt medal at all.
While its fun to poke fun at the high jumper hes not the only one that missed his chance. Hes just the only one that gambled a sure gold and lost it.
