Get the Great Value chicken fingers out the freezer! We're headed to the Grove!

I've never seen a guy with as many almost sacks as 2025 Jack Pyburn.
Since May 4th when I was batting a season high .317, I've gone on to hit .198/.275/.390/.665 over 87 games and 357 plate appearances. I suck at hitting baseballs. Who am I?

A 65 year old who spent years in a high stress job slamming 12-15 red bulls a day.
In a twist that shocked absolutely nobody Peña went cold, Yordans back gave out from carrying the team and the whole offense completely catered. That little run to first place was just Peña, Yed and Paredes going nuts for a spell while the rest of the offense was alarmingly awful. So we added a Jake Meyers clone and called it a day at the deadline.

It is now absolutely proven that it does not pay to schedule good opponents out of conference

Totally agree there's no reason to schedule tough games and risk an extra L. I'm just saying I'm tired of the garbage tune-up games. If they're going to behave like pro sports leagues, let's get straight into a real schedule. No more playing your walk ons in the 4th quarter of a 55-3 game.
The commissioner of college football must fix this at once. What a god awful opening weekend for your sport. Fans getting squeezed for every dollar to pay these dudes millions to play a half game against Northwest County Basketweaving Community College.

#1 Ohio State vs Ball State
#2 Oregon vs Boise (it's a watch given the weak slate)
#3 Georgia vs Tennessee State
#4 Notre Dame vs Wisconsin (a brand match-up at least)
#5 Texas v Texas State
#6 Indiana v North Texas
#7 Miami v Stanford
#8 A&M v Missouri State
#9 Ole Miss v #24 Louisville (our only ranked match-up)
#10 Oklahoma v UTEP
#11 LSU v Clemson
#12 Texas Tech v Abeline Christian
#13 Alabama vs East Carolina
#14 BYU v Utah Tech
#14 USC v Fresno
#16 Michigan v Western Michigan
#17 Washington v Washington State
#18 Penn State v Marshall
#19 SMU v Florida State
#20 Tennessee v Furman
#21 Utah v Idaho
#22 Iowa v Northern Illinois
#23 Houston v Oregon State
#25 Missouri v Arkansas Pine Bluff

Of the top 25 teams, 16 are playing cupcake nothing games. I wish to live in America where I don't have to wait weeks to watch a consistently competitive slate of college football games.

Way to go mommy. You've turned baby boy into the laughing stock of the sports world.

But he doesn't. Mommy does.

I think the Picketts are a little dumb about the number thing too. They just grabbed a slice of the dumbass cake while Jayden and his mom walked away with the whole damn platter.
This feels like the work of his helicopter mom more than Jayden himself.

Why wasn’t the coach who said this identified?

The identity of the coach will be kept anonymous. The original quote however is confirmed to have been sent to ESPN at 2:45 am. Its been edited for clarity but original read...

"Lam e probaaBklt gw r s to much credit for Trindkaas".

We're still uncertain of the identity of this coach.
Please enjoy this thread from September of last year where I appropriately labeled JJ Mccarthy as asscheeks and bashed the Vikings for letting Darnold walk. Some of the Mccarthy enjoyers were upset.

Yeah but in a way, bringing back Jake Meyers is really like a trade acquisition in itself. And you see he had two hits in his return to the lineup so we feel like hes going to be a strong addition to the club down the stretch.

Theres not often many bad things to say about Yed. But wtf are you doing bro? Of course Pena is scoring easily from 2nd on a roller into the corner. Of course the ball is coming your way. Zero situational awareness there to go in standing up.

Winning 11 of 12 on your way to first place at the deadline, doing nothing of import to improve the club and then dropping the series to the shitty Blue Jays is exactly what one should expect of this squad.
