LSU Basketball landed a commitment from UTSA transfer guard Austin Nunez on Monday.

The former four-star recruit began his career at Arizona State before transferring to Ole Miss and then UTSA.

The San Antonio native started 21 games for UTSA last season and averaged 9.8 ppg.

This might be one of those depth pieces wade was saying we needed to fill out our roster ‘in a pitch.’ His offensive and defensive numbers according to Evan Miya are quite poor. Quite poo, I’d say. We’ll see what next year brings, but this guy might be a 5-minute type replacement player
