That’s not how college football works anymore.

Could our D tonight, with the talent on-hand, have out performed any of the other teams' defenses?

The best coach on the offense side (Sloan) was already fired.

And we will be transitioning from the worst offensive staff to among the best in CFB.

I’ll take Barry Sanders on offense and N. Suh on defense if we’re talking career. Tebow honorable mention for career.

Cam Newton and Joe Burrow have to be up there for a single season.

For career, Tebow.

The OP absolutely alluded to the idea there was a media blackout, and its clickbait.

The OP's title is framed as a question. The quote in the message part does not claim there was a "blackout."

What it shows is that several large media have not mentioned what otherwise would be a sensational story - a 40 year old BLACK MAN murders a 65 year old WHITE WOMAN just before Christmas.

So why is this story not front-and-center on every media page?

There is no media blackout. Outlets all over the world have the story.

I don't think the OP's quote stated there was a media blackout. As was pointed out, ABC News does have it. Neither Newsweek nor People are listed in the OP.

I think the point is that media in general have sorely under reported it.

I found a story by ABC News but none by those outlets listed in the tweet.

Are precedents considered laws or are they merely a previous judge's/court's opinion?

There's a reason they're known as A*la*ba*ma*.

Macho silliness that leads to the vigilantism society rejects.

Not really. Principles repel and expose stoopid laws for what they are.

So which news sources do you sanction? Has there ever been substantiated news sources via X?

I answered that earlier

It's to prevent vigilante retardism like the Tina Peters story. The stupidity of her actions is a pretty poignant example as to why there are rules.

Principle trumps laws all day, every day.

Which principle?

I suspect you know but just in case . . .

The principle that a worker can report suspected misconduct without fear of retaliation.

Sliced brisket sandwich.

If breakfast, any kind of biscuit sandwich.

Follow the whistleblower statute requirements?

What's the punishment for not following the whistleblower statues? Why do whistleblower statues obfuscate the intent of the principle to begin with?
Others will have to clear out the fog but as I recall . . .

- The NCAA negotiated TV games such that there were only 1 or 2 games broadcast live. This was challenged by OU and UGA who won the court case. Afterwards, ESPN came on the scene.
- The LSU-USC '79 game was broadcast by ESPN on a delayed basis I think.
- In the early 80s, LSU unveiled Tiger Vision which broadcast games on PPV.
- By mid-80s more and more games were televised by ESPN and Jefferson Pilot (infamous 11 AM games). Ron Franklin on ESPN Sat night games was the gold standard.
Reminiscent of the Honey Badger (GOAT).
Not the Monday Morning March we need.
