Welcome to TigerDroppings.com ("TD," "we," or "us"). We're glad you found us, and we hope your stay is enjoyable.
TD is an online community where LSU fans — and fans of other schools, and just about anyone else — can talk sports, news, and everything in between. The site is free to use, but its future depends on the cooperation and participation of its members, and on everyone respecting the guidelines below. Moderators rely on members to flag violations using the Request Admin button.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or post on TD. By accessing or using TigerDroppings.com, creating an account, or posting content, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
It may look like a lot of rules. In practice, you have to go out of your way to break them.
THE TD COMMANDMENTS
These rules aren't meant to cover every possible situation — use common sense. TD administrators and moderators have final discretion in interpreting and enforcing them.
1. DO choose your username carefully. Search the Member List first. Do not impersonate another person or pick a name designed to mislead other users.
2. DO NOT "flame the board." Flaming is the deliberate act of posting to incite other members or provoke a negative response.
3. DO NOT post bigoted, racist, sexist, or hateful content, or link to such content for the purpose of promoting or endorsing it.
4. DO NOT engage in personal attacks, harassment, or stalking. Healthy debate — including with fans of other schools — is expected and encouraged. Childish insults, verbal abuse, ridicule, ad hominem attacks, and repeatedly targeting another user are not.
5. DO NOT make baseless personal attacks on LSU athletes, coaches, administrators, or recruits. Legitimate criticism of a player's performance or a coach's decisions is fine. Personal attacks, malicious rumors, and insults are not.
6. DO NOT post adult or sexually explicit content, or link to it.
7. DO NOT post images containing:
(a) Nudity or strategically covered nudity
(b) Sheer or see-through clothing that reveals nudity
(c) Lewd or provocative poses
(d) Sexually explicit acts
(e) Close-ups of breasts, buttocks, or crotches
Don't link to images hosted on porn sites — use a standard image host instead.
8. DO NOT use excessive or gratuitous profanity. Context matters; egregious use may still get a post pulled.
9. DO choose an accurate subject line. No deceptive titles, no meaningless one- or two-word subjects, and no posting in ALL CAPS.
10. DO NOT threaten or encourage violence or illegal behavior.
11. DO check for an existing thread on your topic before starting a new one.
12. DO NOT post knowingly false or unsubstantiated claims about LSU players, coaches, administrators, recruits, or officials presented as fact. Rumors involving LSU personnel must have a legitimate, identifiable source.
13. DO NOT infringe copyrights or other intellectual property rights. Don't copy and paste entire articles, subscription-only content, or premium recruiting site material. Brief excerpts for discussion are fine — link back to the original source.
14. DO NOT advertise, sell goods or services, spam the board, or direct users to commercial sites without prior authorization from board management, except where expressly permitted on a particular forum.
15. DO NOT use avatars, signature images, or signature text for political commentary.
Violations may result in a warning, removal or editing of content, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of an account — at TD's sole discretion, with or without prior notice.
POSTING PERILS
Beyond the Commandments above, a post may be removed, edited, or moved if you:
- "Call someone out."
- Start a new thread for every passing thought, or a new thread that just responds to an existing thread elsewhere on the site.
- Flame another board and brag about it here, or gripe about what users on another board are saying about LSU — take it up with that board's management.
- Post on the wrong board — each board has a specific purpose, and your topic should match it.
- Ask for help, or complain about a moderator action, anywhere other than the Help Board.
This list isn't exhaustive. Attempts to evade the rules, exploit technicalities, or otherwise disrupt the site may be moderated even if not specifically described above.
USER CONTENT
You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting or submitting content to TD, you grant TigerDroppings.com a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and archive the site.
This license continues with respect to content you have posted even if your account is later deactivated or terminated. Deactivating or terminating an account does not require TD to remove posts or other content previously submitted through that account.
You represent that you have the right to post the content you submit, and that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights.
TD does not endorse and is not responsible for the opinions, statements, or other content posted by users.
MODERATION AND ENFORCEMENT
TD administrators and moderators may, but are not obligated to, review or monitor user content. TD reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to remove, edit, move, or otherwise moderate any post, thread, image, or account, including locking or anchoring threads, restricting posting privileges, or suspending or terminating accounts.
Report violations using the Request Admin button at the bottom of each post; you'll be asked to select a reason. Request Admin reports are not publicly disclosed by TD. You can also email administrators directly at tigerdroppings@gmail.com.
COPYRIGHT POLICY
TD respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. Users may link to articles and quote brief portions for discussion, but may not reproduce entire articles, subscription-only content, premium recruiting site material, or other substantial copyrighted content.
It is TD's policy, at its discretion, to disable or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others.
DMCA Notices
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), TD will respond to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement occurring on the site. A valid notice must contain the information required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) — see the U.S. Copyright Office's summary of the DMCA for details.

ACCOUNTS AND SITE ACCESS
You're responsible for activity conducted through your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account, TD's systems, or any part of the site you're not authorized to access, or use the site in a way intended to interfere with, damage, or disrupt it.
You may request that your account be deactivated by contacting tigerdroppings@gmail.com. Deactivation of an account does not necessarily result in deletion of content previously posted through that account. TD may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for violating these Terms.
THIRD-PARTY CONTENT, LINKS, AND USER TRANSACTIONS
TD may contain user-submitted links to third-party websites, products, or services. TD does not control or endorse third-party sites and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or content.
Interactions and transactions with other users or third parties are solely between you and them. TD is not a party to such transactions and does not facilitate or guarantee them, verify users, listings, tickets, merchandise, goods, services, or payment arrangements, or assume responsibility for disputes, fraud, or misrepresentation arising from them.
