It's more than that. Her dad is the CAO, the Mayor's right hand man. He tried to get it covered up but SPD declined. FWIW, Mayor and SPD hate each other so they don't get favors.

Only argument is what happens in the next three series and SECT. 13 wins (which is a longshot, but not impossible) plus two wins in SECT should push them over, given not many stolen bids....

I don't think they do this during the game. It's more likely during practices and leading up to the games when players have down time....
Hurd is a long reliever at the next level. He’s brilliant through a couple innings, but one bad call or moment throws him off later in the game. ...
