Showed up last night and gave us another day. Been a rough few weeks for them, but they were nails last night when it mattered!

Big ball park helps the pitching situation.

Huge tip of the hat from me.

I don't remember that many deep fly outs honestly

Big park was not the major factor, IMO, of their success. They all threw mostly strikes.

Congrats.

Guys who wanted to pitch, pitched and pitched well. Guys who didn’t sat out and are on the way out

You’re a moron. No one sat out on purpose.

They all did a very good job of battling and changing speeds.
Guidry did give up a 450 ft foul ball with two on that was just a long strike.
To me was a welcome foul that could have changed the whole night.

This is true. Happy to see these guys do it. Have a feeling the success was related to the level of talent we were facing but hope they prove me wrong tonight.

Staying ahead in the counts was the difference. Our pitchers are
consistently behind in the counts and either walk the batter or throw
one right down the middle which is knocked out of the park because the batter knows it’s coming. When the batter is behind in the count they can’t just wait on that fat pitch
