This one is a head scratcher. Pan Zhanle breaks world record to win men's 100m free by winning the sprint event by over a full second and lowering the WR by 0.40 seconds.
I'll say this... when the Chinese get popped they deserve the same treatment as Russia. Banish their arse for a decade and force the athletes to prove they are clean before competing under the Olympic flag.

The Chinese are gonna do what they wanna do. They still have a Cold War mentality, economically, politically and athletically.
Remember years ago when the Chinese swimmers CAME OUT OF NOWHERE and suddenly they show up to the Worlds and are the best swimmers in the world despite having ZERO pedigree and history of producing swimmers.
Imagine India, suddenly being the greatest sprinters on Earth.
But everyone was so PC back then and let the Chinese compete for years with just grumblings behind the scenes. Grumbling time is over, publicly call a,spade a spade.

All the badminton and ping pong guys should get tested. They will pull 20 medals just in those two sports.

All I have heard is how slow the pool was leading up to the swimming events. Crazy that a WR would get beat so badly.

Anyone notice how none of the other teams congratulated China after the men’s IM relay? The Brits, USA, Aussies hell even the Fins all congratulated each other. They all know China is a disgrace to the spirit of the Olympics.

Look…it’s obvious that Africans are more athletic than European whites. I think it’s also true that European whites are more athletic than Asians. So when Asians smash world records then yeah it’s a red flag
