Strictly personal opinion: The challenge for black candidates in Louisiana is not that they are black ---- it's that they are Democrats. The Democrat party has become anti-American, as shown by almost everything they do.

I would never vote for an black democrat. Not because that individual is black but because that individual is a democrat. However, I would vote for a black republican or black independent if their views were similar to my own.

Very few black conservatives ever run for office in this state, so, of course white Republicans are going to vote for them. He needs to take it up with the white Democrats.
