Except Landry had the 6th district lines redrawn because, as he said, we needed another black district. As far as Landry allying with Trump, he has gotten to be podnas with DJT, Jr taking him on alligator hunts annually.

Correct, I think blacks vote something close to or over 90% for a black candidate over a white one. Race is the most important factor to that group…

This may sound stupid but black represent a little over 10% of the United States pop. Then media magnifies this whole bs narrative to keep them on the reservation. If it wasnt for votes , "they, the liberal mass media would not give a frick about black people". This is the wild thing to me is that blacks as a whole dont see this and do something about it. In the end, the media is magnifying the belief that blacks need representatives based on color or race and not merit. End of Story.

It is the only argument to make whenever there is a discussion. Look at the number of Asians or Hispanics that are elected in this country. Not one of them has a special district.

What a stupid media shill question. As of a few thousand early votes was too much of a burden to delay an election map that was ruled unconstitutional.

If race is a defining trait for political districting, why don’t we have widespread Hispanic gerrymandering? There are far more Hispanic people in the US than black.
