It’s perfectly legal to clean pond scum, algae, and garbage from a historical site.

Honestly, I don't think some of these people can help themselves. It doesn't matter what he does, big or small, some people will immediately oppose it and act as if it is some monumental affront to the American people.

I love how Trump triggers the lunatics.

I bet none of these turds would file a lawsuit if they were painting it like a rainbow during pride month.

You know, that’s an excellent point. These people painted historically significant streets in DC in BLM and Pride motifs and nary a lawsuit was filed.

These dedicated, retired government employees who devoted their lives to the color gray
The Dems favorite color even if it's fashioned by the South. Go figure
Start a rumor the gray color was forced and slaves had to paint it.

Just now? Have you seen a Democrat-run city in the past 60 years?

Guess this is what conservatives need to start doing every time they try and tear down a monument or paint an intersection.

That looks like exactly something Dems support.

They’re trying to delay the project to negatively affect the 250 Celebration

I harbor ZERO doubt that Trump intentionally goaded the Democrats into this fight over the Reflecting Pool by going as hard as he has on the makeover. In addition to choosing a bright All-American blue, the stunt to get video of him triumphantly taking the beast out for a spin before being filled was so important.
Remember, those suffering late-stage TDS can't NOT take the bait. And he sure went out of his way to make it bright and shiny.
If you can't see it, you're not paying attention.
The important takeaway is that it's not about the rabid throngs of woketardians who will eagerly gobble up every twist and turn to this latest chapter of Outrage, Inc. I mean, we'll laugh at them. The theater of it all is worth the price of admission.
But what's important here is the reaction that all the normal people still amongst us (think, more traditional moderate Dems and Independent voters) who will be watching the rabid left descend, yet again, into yet another wave of the non-stop humiliation ritual they're being tricked into performing.
The point is that this isn't really about cleaning out and improving the historic reflecting pool. Although it was certainly needed...not to mention remarkably aligned with the larger theme of 'cleaning up the swamp', those are but the additional benefits to what's going on here.
What this is really about, IMHO, is llaying the ground work using sometjhing as stupidly benign as this as bait for the fake news and Democrats to take. Now they're left attacking Trump over fixing up a pond, thereby causing them and their interests irreparable harm from a public perception standpoint.
See, by making them lose their minds over anything and everything he does, no matter how trivial, they repel people away from their own agenda and toward his/ours.
Bro is legit balling on multiple levels simultaneously.
He's diabolical, is what he is.

At some point these orgs who sue and lose need to be held financially responsible for defendants to recoup all costs. In this case taxpayers.
