I noticed there was a question to Jay (toward the end) about baseball funds seemingly better this year. Essentially, Jay reminded him that funding is a year-to-year type thing. Always a fight for our beloved baseball program it seems.

I noticed Jay also mentioned that the team would be honoring Skip in several different ways this upcoming season.

Although most returning players seemed to shed an inch or two, Casan Evans actually gained an inch (pause). :lol: He's now listed as 6-3.

To paraphrase Ruffino, the reason Sankey (the SEC) keeps moving the "goalpost" is because this has mainly always been about one man. And that man is not named Rousse, Ausberry or even Kiffin. The man that they have the real problem with is Gov. Landry. Because the meeting he hosted was about money. Really big money. It is known in the media only as private equity.

I mean it seems that there may be truth in this. Perhaps Landry's meeting represents a threat to overturn the status quo of the SEC. It's not hard to imagine that this boils down to power and greed.

I really hope you are right Project. Sankey and the SEC have shown just how much they hate LSU. They cannot be expected to just forgive and forget. There are many different ways to continue this insane hatred. Both on the field and off. Personally, the distrust I now have for the SEC admin is paramount. They have already crossed too many lines.

It's just out in the open for everyone to see. I do believe going forward, with or without Sankey, there will continue to be animus in the SEC admin. toward LSU. I have no confidence at all in the SEC.

So, what does LSU do if we are not "kicked out of the league"? I suppose LSU will decide to, mainly because of money, stay in the SEC. But as a fan of LSU, I have zero confidence in the SEC. I think that they will punish LSU through scheduling and through officiating even more so than in the past.

In addition to the quickness, this team just looked stronger on both sides of the ball. The team looks to be in better condition than anything I've seen since 2019.
