Looks like he was shot in the upper leg. Not exactly ideal for a Rb, but for Hardy, certainly the meatiest part on his body.
that’s what killed Sean Taylor.

In this day of the NIL, you no longer have to worry about subtlety’s and such, but he’s got an arrangement in place with a local horse breeder that has allowed him and his family to bring their animals to Boone County, the stables and breeder are world-class. If you remember Devon White and his horses, Hardy’s cut from the same cloth.

If you’re a Mizzou fan, you know, you just know.

Particularly since we just brought in Michigan’s former OC to run the damn rock.

On a more cynical note, with finals week starting this morning I’m sure his academic standing was never in question.

If it's only soft tissue damage, he could recover in just a few weeks.

If it's bone damage, it could be a few months.

If nerve damage is involved, it could take years.

If it's major vascular damage, much like Sean Taylor, it could take a life.

You'd be hard pressed to find any town in the country that doesn't have a "wrong side of the tracks" somewhere in/around town.

Would love to be wrong, but given the tweets like "he is alert" and "there’s optimism that Ahmad Hardy will play football again", I gotta think its a little worse than just a few weeks type injury?

Can’t argue that. Louisiana is certainly full of them.

Clinton Portis grew up in Laurel very near where this shooting was. Supposedly his mom moved him to FL to get out of the crime in Laurel.

Portis has a quote about dog fighting in Laurel, MS. He said it back in 2007 regarding the Vick dog fighting issues.

I've lived in Virginia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Texas. I've lived in small towns and big cities. The next place I live without a bad area somewhere around town will be my first. It's not even a deep south problem - it's an everywhere problem.

Ahhh, here’s the venue for the “concert.” He was shot between 1:00 and 2:00 AM.

Getting Marquee representation at the 841. The duct tape gives it that Je ne sais quoi touch.

Cosmo called his shot in his OP just missed the venue.

Laurel has a lot of nasty side. That show doesn’t get to most parts of the city.
