SMI podcaster says competition starting to "fear" LSU recruiting

The podcaster makes his case (with examples and charts) that both SEC and national competition have begun to "literally fear" LSU and Kiffin in recruiting. He also throws in a quote or two from Shea Dixon.
I mean "fear" might be a strong word to use here. Since it's only about 11min. in length it's not a comprehensive deep dive into the matter. But I found it worth passing along. Here's the link:

SMI - Saturday Morning Inspection. It's a youtube podcast and I think these guys are fairly new.
I'm confused as to why the link's not working Project. I've had no problems in the past. I'll look into it.

No Problem. SMI states that they joined Youtube in 2022 and they have something like 18K followers. I think I've watched their show a couple of times but I'm not that familiar with their product.

They should fear Kiffin at LSU, just like Spurrier back in the day.
Kiffin, like Spurrier, is a "rub your nose in it" kind of guy so when he gets his team he's going to freaking wreck this league.

A more experienced Saban at his age. Perfect match

Love SMI, glad he’s getting some shine on TD!

Am I excited about Kiffin. Absolutely. Strikes me as a little bit early to start making comparisons to peak Tiger Woods in intimidation. He’s a first year head coach off a program that finishes just above 500 last season. Tiger Woods in his prime had won double digit majors.

Good listen, thanks. Agree with the assessment, nobody wants to go head to head against LK right now. We’re building a juggernaut on a faster track than Saban in 2000.

That is the main reason the media has “fear” and hated Kiffin going to LSU. The whole Ole Miss debacle and why he left is a big cover up for the real reason the media hated Lane going to LSU. It’s because they know Lane Kiffin is that coach that can finally bring this LSU football program to their full potential and the media despises the thought of that. They’ve never been overly enthusiastic when LSU is really good and the thought of having to endure LSU being title contenders on a yearly basis is like a huge kick in the nuts to most of the media.
If Lane would’ve left Ole Miss the same exact way for Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Notre Dame or Alabama then you wouldn’t have heard a peep out of the media about how horrible he is for leaving Ole Miss during a playoff run.

Being the villain is going to be fun af

Good. I want Lane to be feared like Phil feared Tiger on Sunday.
