I’ve always wondered if you took someone born, raised and lived their whole life in NYC…..and suddenly transported them to the Kansas Turnpike about half an hour south of Wichita….what would go through their mind.

People to live, aka populate? Especially out west. All that uninhabited desert land is unlikely to ever get used residentially. It's so dry, hot, barren, and isolated in some places that they can't use it for anything except maybe solar panels
From someone who lived out west for almost 20 years, trust me when I say this. There is no place they will not put a neighborhood. Side of a mountain? Yep. Middle of the desert? Yep. Along the ridges of a canyon? Yep.
Much of western Utah is as barren as one can imagine. Still, it is used as grazing land for sheep and cattle. Same with Wyoming and much of Nevada.
We can and do use pretty much everywhere. We even build living quarters underwater now.

The issue is the math is going by square miles and isn't looking horizontally.
West Virginia is ranked 41st is size but has more land that 1/2 the states. Lots and lots of hills.

The math ain't mathing in the first image.....
8.291B x 100 sq ft per person is not 8.291B sq ft.

Scientists refer to the carrying capacity of Earth as "K"
Nobody knows the value of K
Nobody CAN know the value of K, until we pass it by a lot.
When people tell you we are overpopulated, tell them you can fit the entire US population in Jacksonville, Florida

That's easy.... we should immediately eliminate the single biggest threat to human development, Globalist/Marxist Dems.
Would help this earth much more than the myth of global warming. IMHO

So true.
I live in Provo and seldom travel due west. There is nothing once I clear Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs, Tooele.
But also, frickton of land. It could be developed and expanded upon if need be.
