This is where you hire another 13-year-old to beat that kid’s arse.
And those aren’t the worst.

If you're planning to move in 5 years then you shouldn't be getting into a mortgage in the first place. But you definitely shouldn't be getting into a 50 year one where you'll barely pay anything toward the principal.

There is nothing wrong with buying a house that you will be in for less than 5 years.

On a $300,000 loan at 7 percent interest on a 30-year mortgage, you have only paid around $17,000 in principal after 5 years.

Depending on the real estate market you are in, you could make much more than with an increase in value when you sell.

There are lots of variables.

Gerry D snapped 6 straight losing seasons and landed Kevin Faulk. Was riding high until Lou Tepper showed up with his Incomplete Linebacking.

He was a great coach and fit at the time for LSU. He fell victim to the same thing Les Miles did - stubbornness and ego.

The best coaches will change when they have to. DiNardo went down with the ship and refused to fire assistants.

I can maybe hear a case for a 50 year mortgage

If you are planning to move within 5 years, there’s nothing wrong with it. But it should just be interest only. Let’s not pretend you are actually paying down any principal.

But they will shut your business down if your handicapped ramp is built at the wrong angle.

I don’t think you know what “force” means

I had one that you could fast forward

buying water isn't even good enough now. you'd think y'all would welcome that over the sugary drinks, but nope,

Milk and juice with no sugar added are the only liquids that should be allowed on government food entitlements.

I bet this guys refrigerator doesn’t have a water filter. Should he and his family be forced to drink shitty tap water?

Yes. No public food benefit should pay for bottled water.

There is nothing wrong with tap water. Bottled water wasn’t even a widespread thing until about 25 years ago.

I was an adult before I ever drank bottled water.

The tap water is already being paid for by the government for the poor.

The biggest waste of SNAP money is bottled water
There’s no one that has fallen more in my opinion than Levin.

He’s a one topic pundit.
I hear their train system is especially nice and peaceful at night.
That's quite a reach.

Congress authorizes an agency or a program, but they don't authorize each fee, fee increase or additional fees.

Are you saying Trump's recent $100,000 H1B fee was approved by congress?

quote:

Which?

I doubt this is true.

Passport fees, tourist visa fees, H1B fees, and many others. These are imposed at the agency level and/or by executive action.

I can go on and on. There are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of fees imposed by the government that are not approved by congress.

The tax is on the shareholders / ownership of the company. It decreased their net income by $1k (or $1k minus income taxes).

But in this scenario, the company is a foreign entity, so why do we care?

It’s going to be hilarious if he begins attacking the governor for not eliminating the fees when she enthusiastically endorsed him.

Yea, in an interview where it was pointed out that he didn't have the authority to impose those taxes, or change any fee structure with the buses or subways, he said "Well, Governor Hochul endorsed me"

As if an endorsement for election is a seal to agree with everything you want to do in the future.

The mainstream democrats, if there is such a thing, are scared of the Mamdani people, and they will likely pressure Hochul to shut the door on all his policies that require state approval.

Few people will actually leave, just like few liberals left the United States due to Trump.

Some may have to leave, if their jobs are canceled or their companies move to escape increased corporate taxes. But few will proactively leave.
