I enter one command and everything updates from repositories automatically. Seems much more simple.
Differences in sizes are not trivial. The few apps I tested were under 20MB on their own but the containers were more than 5x larger.

It isn't just speed, it is the size of the total install on the drive. You end up with many copies of the same dependencies and have to rely on docker developers to use proper, updated dependencies. They make sense for people continually spinning up VMs all the time and taking them back down or even just for developers who need to constantly test changes.
For the person with a single linux PC in their home? Nah.

I guess I'm too old school to sacrifice the efficiency of proper installs vs the "ease" of trying to go to dockers/containers.

Yes. The ceiling and floor for a Missouri team has never been so far apart. I'd say that is usually a sign of a mediocre or even poor head coach but who knows? Maybe these kids really are degenerate gamblers.

Everyone needs to have it in the back of their minds the next logical step in all this is a new football NCAA alternative just for the football schools. When this happens, they will create regional conferences with equal payouts for all members. Very likely this happens at some point and when it does we may very well end up in something similar to the old Big 8.
If we can get the same $ but have something like the big 8 as our schedule, I think we should be just fine with that.

as much as he talks, he also votes with the dems at a extremely high rate, close to 100%

the absolute minimum is being above .500 but I'm not convinced 10-8 will be enough.

you will need proper cooling for a "closet." Good luck with that. That can have all sorts of ramifications if not done properly and it is long odds to find a residential person that can do that.
Personally, I'd recommend putting your stuff in a portion of an unfinished area like a basement if you will have one.

why complicate it with docker? Plex is easy to setup with a repository install or .deb file.

So what's the threshold for accusers to tap the slush fund and get paid? Is it entirely at the discretion of the majority leadership? I don't see any potential for partisan gamesmanship there.
That is one of the reasons it needs to be abolished completely along with disclosure.

Just getting the CIA cleaned up, funding for this stuff stopped, etc. is worth the effort even if nobody is arrested. The goals should be in this order:
1) stop the bad stuff (Save lives)
2) hold people accountable (send people to prison)
#1 is much more important than #2 but hopefully we can eventually get all of #1 and all of #2.

at a minimum they should be required to divulge all details of matters that involve tax payer funded payouts (that means all payouts, of course).

Where in the constitution does it say the federal government should protect us from being stupid? Is it white supremacy to say people should be accountable for educating themselves?

Of course they haven't. There have been tons of whistleblowers over the decades but most people just ignore them despite all the evidence supporting them.

I cant see ever using anything other than Brave. Lightweight, fast, customizable, secure, private, fantastic ad blocking, etc.
