I am trying my hardest to wipe out the stigma of the last Olympics and cheer for Biles because she is the GOAT but they said she isn't attending the opening ceremony because she has to compete on SUNDAY. Does anyone know if this is a strictly Biles thing or if the whole gymnastics team skipped?
If the whole team skipped, I would have a very different opinion than if she is the only one who skipped. Just seems odd that every other Olympian can attend the ceremony but she can't because she has to compete in 2 days.
Edit: Turns out I'm the a-hole and the whole team skipped and its not uncommon for gymnasts to skip.
