Our students only take 1 year of US history in HS. German students have to take 4 years of German history. It's a lot longer and a lot more complicated than our history.

When you shoot your best round in years and you're playing by yourself it still gives you a thrill. If it was for self esteem you'd tell other people about it. But you don't. It's a personal goal that you've achieved. It's called having fun.

The dems don't have to make the choice. Hillary is not gonna want to run. She doesn't like the hard work of campaigning. It interferes with Happy Hour (the even-numbered hours on the clock).
I don't think many people view wealth as a source for self esteem. If you grow up poor you seek wealth as a way of avoiding going back into poverty. Super succesful people don't continue to seek more wealth for self esteem. They do it because they are really good at it. Guys who are good at golf continue to strive for a better scoring average. It's not to get admiration from other people.
I have only met 1 Albanian. She was a 20 y.o. college student who got here a year before on a student visa. She was about 5-4, 150 pounds. She told me that she was 110 lbs. when she arrived in America. She was amazed at the variety of quality foods in our grocery stores and she went nuts eating. She said Albiana has small stores with few choices. She hated Albania.
Women vote WAY more for communist candidates than men. So, the pitch is to women. And they are running a lot of female candidates who are commies.
Edit: And it's pitched as rights but it's designed to meet the need that women have to be 'taken care of.'

I'm a communist but I always vote Republican because I'm to the right of the most right wing politician. So, why am I communist? Because the USSR national anthem was the best one ever.
I had some fruit flies from bananas. I took a wine glass with a top that was smaller than the middle and poured an inch of red wine in the bottom of the glass. The next morning the dead flies were in the glass. I guess they can't navigate out of the curved glass.
