Jerrius Davis Probably kin to Jefferson Davis.

I think he was named after a Roman general...Jerrius Davidius.
Yesterday Schumer criticized the GOP Congress for voting in lockstep with Trump. I guess his party didn't do that with Obama and Biden.
Yes. If I were the warden at a prison I would buy them for $25 and I would put them on a self restarting audio tape. I would run that tape all day and all night in each jail cell until the prisoners committed suicide.
The media is saying 'Trump lost the election for Pierre.' One question...If the Mullahs of Iran did non-stop campaigning for Trump. Saying that he's the best thing ever. Would that have persuaded us to vote for Kamala? No, and why? Because we're not morons. Therefore, if Canadians voted based on Trump's rhetoric then they were a bunch of morons.

There is a section of the female brain that produces a dose of pleasure to a woman when she is talking. It does not happen in the male brain. Although this wasn't discovered until modern medical equipment came up, it should have been obvious when the rotary dial phone was invented in 1953. That's when stay at home wives stopped cleaning and cooking all day. They were on the phone talking till husband got home.
When Janet Reno was appointed I came across her bio. She claimed to have been a H.S. debater. She seemed much too low IQ for that so I checked the Forensic League stats and her career point total was 33. That means she won 2 debates and lost 7. Then she quit before her first season was over (probably on her coach's advice).

I was trained in the science of reading and I really love teaching people how to read.

I was trained in the science of reading in 1st grade (Kindergarten did not exist in New Iberia back then). It took 2 days and I went from there on my own.

Any Navy fellas with experience here to chime in?

My Marine pilot buddy said he was launched into the ocean from his carrier because his wings were still in up position and had never given the signal to launch. He got back on board the ship and had an unfriendly discussion with the launching guy.

The fact California is still resisting phonics a solid 25 to 30 years after their stupid whole language approach had been thoroughly debunked is just embarrassing

And you don't need to train teachers how to teach phonics. They just need to know the alphabet and the sounds each letter makes.

I'm almost 40. I can't imagine having a newborn right now. I'm too damn tired to clean the fricking kitchen after dinner and get the kids to bed already. No way could I handle household duties, work, raising two growing kids, AND a newborn right now.

And there is the issue of the older husband. I've known a couple of women who were 40, childless and either divorced or never married. They are not gonna find a 40 y.o. husband. It's gonna be a guy around 50. They are not keen on being a new dad. One guy I worked with was 55 when his new wife demanded they have a baby. He consented but was not excited. I said 'It'll be fun, Bob. Just think about going to the H.S. graduation when you're 73.'
Goldwater. He warned about the growth of govt. and corresponding loss of liberty.

New York Times

About 25 years ago my favorite barista at Starbucks saved the Sunday NYT that didn't sell by Monday and gave it to me. I was amazed that the front page headlines read like editorial page titles. And the 'Arts Section' had everything you'd want to know about ballet dancing.

Nah, she sees an opportunity to get some time off. "Gotta get my nails done. Gotta get something new done with this hair. Hell, I might even get my pussy hair waxed."

Will be about as impactful as that MFer that rambled on for 25 hours…no one cares.

Well, I'll be impressed if they go 25 hours without taking a piss. I'd be even more impressed if they took 10 Chocolate Ex-Lax tablets just before the sit-in.

Today's Sunday morning left wing radio show had a piece on new devastating effects of global warming. It causes stomach ache. Experts say that more people complain about stomach ache when it's hot outside.

The current model is antiquated

It's just the opposite. The current model abandoned the old method. In the 1950s if you got a HS diploma it meant you could read, write and do the basic 4 functions in math. Today, over a third of graduates cannot. In some districts 90% cannot. The focus shifted to self esteem and social promotion.

But you look like a massive fricking tool when you won't even acknowledge the most miniscule of Trumps frickups.

It wasn't a frickup. He did it on purpose. It was to piss you off. It worked.

The oddest alliance is Dems and Muslims.

The book I'm reading covers this. It all started in the 50s and 60s when civil rights riots broke out because blacks were oppressed by whites. This expanded in the 80s with the left championing gay rights. Again, because they are oppressed This time by straight society. Then, around 2000 Muslims gained the support of the left because they are oppressed. This time byJews and their supporters in Europe and America. The pattern is pretty obvious.
