A probate court filing says in July of 2024, a bank issued two checks for $114,132 to a family that Johnson represented in Marion County Probate Court.
It says the woman's family gave the checks to Johnson, who deposited them into her law firm's trust account.
Court records show Johnson wrote two checks to the family for $10,000 and $5,000 and $15,000, but that was the last time they got any money.
