Capitalism is the only system where someone can go from nothing to everything.

The poorest of the poor in a Capitalist system are many times more wealthy than the base level poor in all other systems.

You aren’t entitled to anyone’s work, talent, effort or wealth. The “greater” good isn’t that great when in reality it’s the entitlement and laziness of the collective.

No other system rewards individual effort like capitalism.

The government is too inept, corrupt and filled with idiocy to decide how the collective wealth is redistributed. Nope.
I have an apple supplier and an orange supplier.

I receive 1000 apples and 100 are rotten.
I receive 100 oranges and 50 are rotten.

Which is my problem supplier?

I use this often to blank stares with people like that.
It does.

Don’t forget to add the 17% race unknown.

ETA- it’s pretty close anyway. The two %s are almost 25% regardless.
That’s not what it’s reflecting.

Not 25% of blacks. 25% of recipients are black.

Another really important stat not discussed enough- taxes paid into vs tax dollars drained out: by demographic.

They’ve run up a helluva tab.
I’m not a soccer fan, but did watch some of the game last night.

Found myself wanting Mexico to win.

England is a self imposed catastrophe. They’ve willingly bent over and spread open for every leftist tenant. Fck England.

I was curious what the sentiment would be on this board and was surprised at the support for England.

Yeah, Mexico is an immigration issue along with many other countries, but England is a joke as a nation. The rapes alone should be enough.
Agree!

What an amazing country we live in…the natural beauty, the geographical diversity, the God given resources, the opportunities, the spirit of freedom.

I’ve had the chance to see others not born here experience it and it tears me up.

It undeniable. It’s to the soul to the bone. When you feel it, you love it hard.

So much hate for it these days and as a Gen X dude that grew up so full of patriotism and joy for USA, it’s a hard pill to swallow.

America, she’s beautiful, strong and she gives us all chances to pursue happiness. Some will never appreciate what they had until they destroy it.

Also, it’s true. Being an American is a state of mind. Anyone can be American if you feel it
for what it’s intended to be and tune out the noise of the ungrateful and devious.

God bless America! May she long stand strong through it all, enemies abroad and domestic.
Japan loves America more than half of Americans.
Same.

Always seemed without merit.
Fat JD is the star of that show! Hahhahahhaha

re: USAID was making rap popular

I’d say it’s primarily self declared. You say you are- you are.

You can sing too and call yourself a singer. You can dance and call yourself a dancer. You can entertain and call yourself an entertainer.

All would be true.

Whether you’re good or not is a matter of opinion, but you call yourself any and all of the above.
I have a problem with it. It became a cultural norm.
Degeneracy in all forms glorified, celebrated and adopted in language and behavior.

Hip hop/rap has been net negative for the country in ways other genres haven’t impacted.
Billy Corgan has spoken about this quite a bit. Not the USAid component, but the intentional promotion of the hip hop garbage and the demotion of better selling, more popular rock.

He was confused by it at its inception, as it was almost overnight.
We better understand the plot at this point.
The article says is a blow for “global warming”.

So the project may be a loss but not for that fictional bllsht reason.
That’s why he’s a good choice.

Look at all the broken things not getting fixed by this court.

The main problem is the universities who train crazed anti-american leftists. Everything else flows from that, immigration, education, culture, you name it. The failure has been most conservatives don't care about universities, and make almost no attempt to stamp out the problem (with a few exceptions). California did not fall because of immigration or Hollywood, those were symptoms of the cause. The problem started at Cal Berkeley and spread like a disease. Texas has the same problem now and it will wreck the state if they don't do more to stop it.

I agree.
It’s just even bigger than the universities. It’s the media, all levels of education, corporations, pop culture…the constant onslaught of left wing ideology and the revisionist history has taken a toll on American minds for multiple generations.

We imported many dangerous enemies when we fought the War on Terror overseas THEN imported the Terrorists here. Why, I don't know. We were told to "Fight Radical Islam over there so we don't have to fight them here." That was a lie because we IMPORTED them here for the specific purpose of them causing trouble here. THEN we allowed the Left to gain control over all of our info outlets and educational systems. This fostered the growth of the enemy within. The Cake is Baking and We The People are in a Pickle. I don't see any clear way out of this, because so many of us believe that Mamdani is on the right path.

Yup.
Nailed it.
I’d think you were me if I didn’t already know my whereabouts.

The USA has been trending Left for many decades. The culmination of that trend is the political objective articulated by this Democrat candidate for US Congress. Also, may I remind everybody that The Holy Bible itself is very clear about what is going to happen to us - there is going to be a time of very great suffering and tribulation for the human race. I can't think of any more obvious agent to inflict that suffering than the Red-Green Alliance between Global Bolshevism and Radical Islamic Jihad. How many of us deep in our hearts are convinced that THIS version of the USA can defeat that kind of assault? - Because it will be an assault not from a foreign invading army, but rather an assault from within our own borders. The Enemy is not AT the Gates, he is WITHIN the gates because our fellow Americans who are Dems let them in. The Cake is Baking.

This.
All this.

I’ve been saying for a long time, Americans are America’s most dangerous enemy.
