We have a high enough draft pick.
Saints are in position to get a QB they deem worthy and like
Carr in no way will be back next year.
Haener or Rattler will easily not be a part of the team's plan in 2026 should that happen.
Having Shough and a rookie qb is not a problem whatsoever. If that is what is deemed needed and Shough hasn't proven enough to make passing on a qb that high an option

His production was immensely evaluated in part of the process and there was a focus on what he did this past year specifically cause that’s what he is now. You are not taking into account hardly any analysis of the scheme he played in, success w talent or really anything meaningful. And no matter what, swinging a 40 pick on a possible future qb is absolutely a shot we shot be attempting.
