This is beyond sneaky. They need shut down.
They want the entire pot of money.
quote:Do the math for each line of their communications being $500,000.
Buried on page 217 of the 2025 Senate Continuing Resolution Bill [TEXT HERE], Republican Senators inserted legislation to “retroactively” pay themselves $500,000 each for every line of communication, telephone record, email or other electronic communication, subpoenaed by the Jack Smith Special Counsel during the Arctic Frost investigation. The targeting of Republican senators was too much for the Republican Senators to bear.

Strip these senators of their committee positions…..
That’s where they get their power and make their money (political donations)

And Trump should (privately) let him know that his ‘public servant’ income will be audited with a microscopic for any collusion, grift or payoffs to serve the interests of conspiratorial enemies foreign or within.
This is political blackmail, extortion and malfeasance in undermining the will of the majority of our CITIZENS, straight up and should be dealt with accordingly.
Dems have already thrown the rulebook out and it’s better to go the Authoritarian route as that is a given. It’s just a matter of who holds the formal seal of power. One side or other will win or lose. The choice is binary. Sadly and painfully so.
Thank the Marxist Democrat Party for their “fundamental change” aspirations. Big changes coming soon. More “doom saying “ from the hayseed, freedom loving America demographic. (Roll eyes).

‘Utterly Stupid’: Mitch McConnell Joins Mounting Group Of GOP Officials Against Trump’s ‘Slush Fund’
quote:
Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) slammed President Donald Trump’s “anti-weaponization fund” on Thursday after a meeting with Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche that saw widespread Republican opposition to the move.
Blanche sat down with lawmakers on Thursday to discuss his department’s new $1.776 billion fund set up as part of a settlement of Trump’s $10 billion lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service over the 2019 leak of his tax returns. The meeting seemingly did not go well, with Semafor’s Burgess Everett reporting that it was “being described as a ‘sh*tshow’ per people familiar with it.”
A number of Republicans have spoken out publicly against the fund, with Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) one of its most vocal critics, refering to the policy on Thursday as “stupid on stilts.” Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) also critisized the policy, as did Senator Susan Collins (R-ME), who said said she did not believe that the fund should go towards paying those who were convicted of violence against police officers. Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL) told reporters she too would have a problem with that possibility.
quote:
Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) vowed to try to “kill” it and went so far as to introduce a bill to block the fund from using taxpayer dollars, while Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) called it a “slush fund.” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) told CNN’s Manu Raju that “the decision to unveil $1.8B fund now (when they’re trying to pass the bill) was a giant mistake,” adding, “Somebody described it as a galactic blunder, and I think that’s probably true.”
McConnell joined the chorus on Thursday as well, calling out Blanche specifically in a strongly worded statement that called the fund “morally wrong.”
“So the nation’s top law enforcement official is asking for a slush fund to pay people who assault cops? Utterly stupid, morally wrong – Take your pick,” he said.
The opposition to the fund reportedly led to Thune sending his colleagues home on recess without a vote on a reconciliation bill that would have funded tens of billions of Trump’s immigration enforcement policies.

en. Tillis Vows to Block Trump's Anti-Weaponization Fund and Nominees
very interesting … especially given that these cork suckers didn’t have any problems with manufacturing their own weaponization fund …
quote:
Republicans in both the House and Senate are quickly moving to stop the DOJ/IRS settlement with President Trump that establishes a $1.776 billion victim’s compensation fund for those targeted by corrupt government conduct.
The move in the Senate is particularly Machiavellian considering they recently established a $500,000 system of penalties for government conduct after they found out the Jack Smith investigation had subpoenaed their private phone records.

Yet, only when the weaponization targets a Republican Senator personally does the issue warrant compensation. Think about it.

Trump needs to make sure Tillis, Cassidy, McConnell, and Cornyn are toxic in DC once they leave. To the point that every company knows if they hire them they will lose contracts. Include their children, etc.
Thune needs to be taken out of the leader position ASAP too, and start making his family toxic in positions too so that he straightens out.
