The SoCal Strategies poll of 700 likely voters from May 20-21 gives Paxton 56.8% to Cornyn's 34.5%, with 7.8% undecided, following Trump's May 19 backing after their tight March 3 primary. Paxton's momentum builds on packed rallies and strong support from young voters and MAGA fans, while Cornyn highlights his 99% Trump voting record, border work, and massive $90 million ad spend. Despite low early voting turnout, the Tuesday runoff will test if Paxton's grassroots energy overcomes Cornyn's establishment machine in this deep-red state.
