North Carolina Republican Sen. Thom Tillis, retiring next year, told Politico he will block the $1.776 billion anti-weaponization fund from a Trump-IRS settlement and oppose nominees like Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, whom he called incompetent.

He frames his stance as protecting GOP seats, criticizing ideas like payouts to Jan. 6 convicts and 50-year mortgages pushed by Trump's advisers, even embracing the RINO label to reject what he calls stupid stuff.

Trump hit back on social media, labeling Tillis weak and ineffective, while broader tensions stall bills like the SAVE America Act and a $72 billion immigration measure amid pushback from senators like John Thune.

This is the best part of the whole thing. Is he voluntarily stepping down, or did he get primaried, too?

Exactly. They quit sitting on their hands and removed their masks...

Tillis rode on the plane into Wilmington NC. Kissing Trumps arse with a full endorsement...

He is so unpopular this is save to do. It’s barely above 30%. It’s hard to govern when you’re this unpopular

Cassidy lives in my area. If I ever see him in public. I am going to let him know what a pos he is. I am so glad that politicians like him are finally being exposed for the frauds that they are.

So... doing exactly what he was already doing.

And to think, Trump had the temerity to not endorse unfriendly incumbent senators.

They'll show him!

His purpose is now revenge on Trump because his poser mask came off.

They are also harming we the people that want border security ICE funded with DHS. AND the save act.

They dont care about the people. SIDENOTE: Do Rubio and Vance have JudasPenceitis down the road? There i said it-- hope my spidey senses are off.

He is a completely corrupt, morally bankrupt pile of monkey shite.

In Trumps first term they refused border security, the wall, and Trumps budget.

J6thers have applied to the lawsuit money Trump won, for wrongful prosecutions. THIS is pissing off the Turtles.

I’ve been saying on here that they are worse than Dems.

I don’t even think they’re RINOs. They are something different. They are more like a group of mercenaries bent on making themselves wealthy by purely exploiting their position, and they clearly have a little team that works together.

Doesn't Trump have the legal authority over the IRS settlement monies he won?
