And it's happening right before midterms.

IMO, it's a case of Occam's Razor. Hospital was probably using cost-cutting measures. Cheap, good, and fast is basically impossible, but so many facilities think they can get away with it.

Did covid profits make them even greedier?

Ascension.

I worked for an Ascension facility.

They first cut our research department. The drug eluding cardiac stents used worldwide had much of the research done in that facility.

They cut cardiac monitor techs so NO ONE was watching those monitors all the time, nurses were expected to monitor them when everyone of us had 5 to 6 patients on a cardiac stepdown unit running cardiac drips, including the charge nurse. That changed after at least one patient death.

They were going to cut our rapid response team out completely despite the number of times that team kept a patient out of ICU or quick response and rapid orders meant life or death. That was stopped only because of community pressure was so strong against it.

We had no chest tube written policy for at least a year, then they wondered how there were so many complications.

I could go on. They utterly disseminated a fantastic community hospital in which fantastic care was given with the most stable nursing workforce I had ever been a part of. 160 years after the place was started by a group of nuns Ascension sold it to a secular corporation. I am not Catholic and had not worked there for 4 years and I cried my eyes out.

I had loved what I did and worked with people who became my best friends, right up until I simply couldn't anymore.

Ascension was only profit driven, nonprofit isn't what you think. Patient care came behind the money. The change when they put themselves in the driver's seat was clear.

The H1Bs aren’t better workers than kids from here. They are cheaper and they are less likely to leave because they are slaves once over.

And they come with fake degrees. Once here they pool their money and buy small businesses.

Ascension St Thomas is part of a Catholic set of Hospitals run by an Indian CEO; like his IT brethren he has hired an Indian to run this error filled Hospital. Dr. Shubhada Jagasia, president and CEO.

@MissDeeMissDee

Most hospitals are corporate owned since Obamacare. Corporations hire foreigners. Many may not even have legitimate degrees. (India)
The hospital pharmacy mixes meds. Start the investigation there.
@SecRubio Should look into Their Visas and Medical
Schools should put moratorium on foreigners we have a physician shortage and it’s only gonna get worse in the 2030’s

What’s really scary about that is I work in a pharmacy and those vials look very very different from each other. Potassium Chloride is so dangerous it has a neon yellow label. That is more than incompetence, that is potentially purposeful

Where's the Complaint Department?
3rd world doctors in all of our hospitals now because white boys can't get into medical schools

Potassium chloride is used to put animals down, with other cocktail drugs. Its very effective at stopping the heart. I hope it wasnt a tech issue. Automated Dispensing Cabinets are AI oversight these days. More and more AI is entering health care.
Pentagon Fires Stars and Stripes Publisher, Editor-in-Chief, and Reporter for “Insubordination”

quote:

The Pentagon moved Friday to fire three senior employees at the taxpayer-supported military newspaper Stars and Stripes, accusing them of “insubordination” amid an escalating battle over the publication’s direction.

Publisher Max Lederer, Editor-in-Chief Erik Slavin, and Middle East reporter Lara Korte were each served with separation notices and given five days to appeal,

The stunning shake-up comes as the Trump administration works to overhaul the military publication, drag it into the 21st century, and eliminate the “woke distractions” that have infected institutions across the federal government.

Slavin and Korte claimed they were targeted over interviews they gave to CBS News without authorization for a segment that aired in July.

Slavin told CBS that the Pentagon accused him of insubordination after he publicly declared that any effort to control the newspaper’s reporting would cross a “red line.”

The firings follow months of tension between Pentagon officials and the newspaper’s entrenched leadership.

Chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell previously announced plans to bring Stars and Stripes “into the 21st century” and refocus the outlet away from “woke distractions that syphon morale.”

Boom33?
I don't think data centers were planning on building their own electricity...they have already gotten billions in tax abatements...and are working with local electric companies...bills are already going up when the data center isn't even finished being built yet. Will they need to go back to the drawing board to figure in this aspect?

2.He hasn't posted for 17 days...I was wondering if he was banned.

3 I believe he has been banned before but don't know the reasons.

4. I do not know what he did to be suspended.

Thank you for opening the thread and considering reinstatements.

You can disagree without being disagreeable...SFP pushes the limits.

Everyone has a different perspective...there is no single group of people who see everything exactly the same...except dem socialists but they're trained to repeat the narratives they've been indoctrinated with.

same. but he loves being contrarian and arguing just to argue. it is his lawyeresque narcissistic sociopathic self. he drags shite on even if we do not reply to him. he baits others so they keep the threads going continuing the derailment.

I wonder if he keeps score on how many thread derailments he causes...he seems to enjoy it. I wish we had a block feature...wouldn't that be something?

was enjoying his bannage. guess he will be back derailing threads in no time. also means 4chubbies will return.

Thank you for the reply.

Does the site have a section that has a list of members who are banned, with a reason given and the possible time that they will be banned?

I guess either people like SFP or don't...I usually skip reading his posts. He seems to enjoy what he does but it is irritating.

Yeah, BoarEd had to sit a few plays out, but it looks like his alters have been posting.

Thanks! AlterEd is the only other one I'm aware of.
