And since that d/n make sense, it's worth at least considering other explanations as to what's going on. What would help make this make sense?
Well, one possibility is that, given what they were involved in, they're being moved into a WitSec-type scenario for the time being to protect them. The headlines alone are generating mass public attention, given how crazy it is—and that matters if whatever they're involved with is of enough importance for a measure like this to be considered to make the biggest splash possible on the other end.
Anyway, something to chew on at the very least
