I think it used to be an olympic sport. But tug of war is horribly dangerous. People have lost fingers and hands and arms. A lot school and company and church picnics used to have it, but too dangerous.

Worlds is on a Paul designed course this year, so we'll see what happens. Looks like the Android will take Ledgestone this weekend.

I think Lacrosse is going to be in the Olympics in 2028. As for the rest, pickleball is a sure thing if it's current popularity keeps up. It's no less of a sport than badminton.
Not sure why cricket hasn't been included as it's one of the most popular world sports. I guess it's hard to squeeze a tournament into the Olympic time frame.
