The initial concern was the price as a "forever" drug making these a bad EV play, but with the prices crashing and new versions coming out, the whole "you'll have to take them forever" argument doesn't even seem to have much merit anymore.
And I get that some people will have negative reactions and no substance is 100% safe, and I also get the whole "weak will" virtue signaling, but based on everything we know these are legitimate wonder drugs.

The only problem with GLPs are the laziness of the people using them /end

Late stage cancer patients already malnourished taking that shite seems like a bad idea
Posted on 5/22/26 at 10:21 am to Fun Bunch
A problem with that is most people at that stage already deathly skinny and malnourished due to the chemo. They need to gain weight not lose it.

Also some stuff coming out that GLPs make you more lazy because they sorta down regulate the reward/pleasure/endorphin system of your brain
So you just become more apathetic about life in general

Given the polar-emotional state of so many in society right now, this seems like a major plus

Some are
Youd be surprised at how many are still morbidly obese though

Maybe once they drop some weight and feel better in their own skin they won’t be as lazy.

do you think if the glp1 helps them to drop 100lbs, they wont naturally feel better and want to be more active at 175 and way less likely to damage their body exercising?
honestly that gives me a great idea --- someone should open gyms that focus on the 'newly skinny' O-users with trainers that carefully guide the formerly 'never-exercisers' into a new routine without causing a knee blowout or something that puts them right back where they were.
i bet someone could make bank with training regiments focused on fixing former-fatties.

I don't care if they are lazy or not. I don't understand why the OT cares that much.
Lazy people that weigh 175lbs are going to have far less health problems than lazy people that weigh 275lbs. And are going to cost the taxpayer a lot less as a result

Doesn’t work like that from what I’ve seen. They take it, keep doing nothing physical and just eat less of the same crap they were before. Besides, it’s the process that strips you of lean mass. Once you’ve “dropped the weight” like you say, the muscle is gone.
GLPs aren’t just for fat people either. I’m using glp3 to go from 12-15% bf to single digit. I don’t have skinny face

the biggest issue i've seen aside from celebrity abuse of this like Demi Moore and that fat pig comedian...amy?...is definitely o-face.
i think to avoid being ID'd as a 'former fatty' because of over-doing the weight loss, carefully slowing down and picking up muscle definition would help regulate and make these people look 'more normal'.
to your point, fun bunch, the o-face and obvious glp1 abusers is in large part due to them wanting ALL OF THE FAT removed by the drug instead of getting to a healthy level and adding in weight training so they don't look like skeletor.
lack of any physical activity during and after rapid weight loss is what leads to all these gaunt looking freaks.

Until they quit taking the magic pill that made them 175 and now they’re 310 with 25# of muscle missing

These drugs continue to show amazing results. It's remarkable the all encompassing things this stuff is linked to

So in your expert medical opinion what’s the solution to all these concerns?
