I consider myself an expert on falling.
I don’t believe that any significant % of these plays are purely designed to keep him healthy.
Further, this isn’t on him or you fans to worry about, but they need to start calling offensive fouls when legs and feet flying all over the place.

This is clearly a lie.
Why do y’all say it?

Spurs have shot more free throws than OKC so far in this series.
Wemby and SGA have taken the same number of free throws in this series.
Spurs are #6 in free throws in the playoffs. OKC is #14 in free throws in the playoffs.
So the discourse has moved to SGA falling

I somehow respect SGAs game even less than prime Beard. It is beyond infuriating watching as a neutral fan.

You’re right. Honestly, everyone in the league should do this on every shot. That way, you can be late down the floor and potentially give up a 5 on 4 advantage to the opponent. But it’s worth it, because it’s pretty much mid-game load management. The league has been around over 70 years and it took SGA to be the first guy to think about a way to minimize his own injury risk.
I’m thoroughly entertained and more convinced than ever that he embodies greatness.

Have you seen the way people defend Wemby? Did you watch Hartenstein hold his arm while Wemby still completed the alley-oop? Maybe…just maybe…OKC is fouled less in the act of shooting than SA?

Wrong again:
quote:
"It was something I learned during my rehab when I was going through the foot injury, when I was trying to find ways to limit the impact on my body in 2014," Embiid told ESPN.
“I was told that every time I feel like I'm in a situation where it's going to be some type of extreme [weight] on my leg, I've got to dive or just roll onto the floor. So that's why I do it."
