I ran into Coach O at a gas station one morning here in Metairie sometime last fall. Shook his hand and the first thing he started asking me about was high school football in the area. I didn’t even provoke the conversation, dude was just locked in that morning.

I liked Frank a ton. Very close with one of his family members. The way he handled his impending departure was disgraceful.

Lane played the game, tried to get Elijah Robinson on staff and acted like it was done. The agents caught wind of it, and turned the tables to get more money and did so successfully during that meeting. Frank was the one who made Lamar and Big Rich feel comfortable again with Lane and LSU.
