For real though, has any tourist been I hired or kidnapped?
Supposed to go to Cancuun in a few weeks, am I going to get kidnapped?

Flying in mid-March. Chances I make it back with my golf clubs and wedding ring?

Boys will destroy something to see if they can. Ask them why they did something and they will stare at you and innocently say “I don’t know Dad. I had to.”
And they mean it. It’s real. You can’t just whip that arse either. It doesn’t work. Because they are tiny men. You have to explain to them why not and convince them not to do it so that they understand.
Endless energy. With zero direction. Like a balloon with the knot untied. All the time. Until they crash. It’s hard to get them aimed at something but it’s super satisfying when you do.
Social settings can be hard early You learn to read them as people though and take them outside to walk around the parking lot or look at rocks or whatever. Basically give them a break.
Nailed it

A few years ago, I was having lunch at Ruth's Chris, and a few kids (in school uniforms so they should have known better) were running around and nearly knocking over servers.
This isn’t the behavior I’m talking about, this is unacceptable

The 4-5 year old boy talked continuously and was the center of attention at their table. It didn’t bother me because we had our own conversation among us. However, it was noticeable because he was loud
I’m just saying as someone whose job puts me around kids all day everyday, we should not be suppressing outgoing talkative children. There are SO MANY kids today who can’t even look you in the eye and refuse to do anything social, any kid who isn’t afraid of their own shadow needs to be encouraged

the only time it's a nuisance is when the parents are not even trying to keep the kids in line. Even when the kids are going wild,
I am 100% with you on this. Unruly kids whose parents won’t discipline them are not the type of kids I’m talking about. I’m talking about the kid talking loudly in the restaurant or playing a game with their friend somewhere in public. These kids aren’t causing anybody any problems other than being loud, and I feel like those types of kids used to be accepted by society and now people act like they are horrible or that their parents suck for allowing their kids to be kids
quote:
Growing up, we (me and my siblings) were taught how to act in public. When adults are talking you don't interrupt, never ask for anything in front of other people and when you are told no, it means no and you better not ask again. And if you didn't do it when you got to the car or home
You see this is the confusion that some of you have. Your parents and grandparents did this to you because they didn’t want you to bother them. You may not realize it, but I bet you could do whatever the frick you want as long as you weren’t annoying your parents.

Gen X, checking in. You did not interrupt adults. We had manners.
But the flip side is adults did not interrupt you playing as long as you weren’t doing something wrong or out of control.
And the people that want to complain about noisy, kids are also the first ones to complain about kids looking at screens too much.

When is the last time you’ve been to a brewery? Seems like half of them are specifically designed for kids at this point.

Playing outside at a restaurant. Being loud and obnoxious in a hotel is significantly different.
I’m not talking about screaming running though the hallways at 1 AM. I’m more talking about kids running around in a lobby or a hotel lounge.
I guess I just don’t see why society discourages kids to run around and play in public nowadays. If you don’t want to be around kids and go somewhere, that’s adults only.

I feel like kids being kids in public places used to be more accepted. Now kids in public are expected to be quiet, not move around, and not disturb anyone.
Obviously, I’m not talking about out of control kids, that’s different. Talking about kids playing outside at a restaurant, kids being noisy in a hotel or public transportation, things like that. I think the expectation for people‘s kids to not disturb. Anyone is one of the reasons why so many parents shove screens in their faces anytime they are in public. So what if a four year-old is being noisy in a restaurant, a four-year-old shouldn’t be able to sit quietly at a table for an hour, why do we expect that now?

The fact that Braxton, Sloan, Ryker, and Zayne are considered normal now is sad

Hilarious this list actually exists. Hilarious how on the nose so many of these names are

Yall need to just accept that 10 years ago a project like this would’ve released as a movie instead of a TV show. They’re basically taking a 2hr movie and stretching it into a 6 episode season, so we actually are getting more than we should if you think of it like that.

Of all the reasons to dislike him this is one of the dumber ones. What was he supposed to do lose on purpose because of the bubble?

I’m not sure if you’re being intentionally obtuse or if you’re actually slow.
I made the point that LeBron plays in the NBA so by default he is in shape enough to run a mile faster than most people. I believe the same is true for Jokic although I doubt he runs a crazy fast mile since he is much much bigger than LeBron is.
I agree that there are some giant lumbering guys in the NBA that would suck at most other sports and are only in the NBA due to their giant size. I disagree that LeBron is one of those people, he is an elite athlete even when compared to other elite athletes.
You are an average athlete even when compared to other average athletes, regardless of how often you workout and how much you annoy people talking about your lifts.

You think LeBron and Jokic are the same person? Or are you just trying to change the argument because you realize how dumb you look?

I’m just quoting an article from 2017, no idea how legit it is.
But LeBron plays in the fricking NBA. Those guys run a lot. If you don’t think he can run a mile faster than most humans you’re an idiot

Here is my answer: LeBron James could run at least a 4:40 mile.
