Danny Go! star’s son dead at 14: ‘Pain in my heart is far more than I can process’

A popular children's YouTuber known as Danny Go! revealed on Friday that his 14-year-old son has died.
Daniel Coleman, the creator and main character in the popular program, posted on Instagram that his son, Isaac Coleman, lost his battle with cancer on Thursday.
"Oh my sweet boy. There’s so much I want to say, but I don’t know how yet. I already miss you so much, and the pain in my heart is far more than I can process," he began his message alongside photos of his son.
Isaac, who had Fanconi anemia, "an inherited condition that happens when certain genes mutate" and can cause physical differences or blood disorders, was diagnosed in December with cancer in his mouth.
"TBH, we always knew this day was coming, as it’s a near certainty w/ Fanconi anemia. But it’s definitely hitting a little earlier than we hoped and is still just such a shocking thing to hear about your child, even if you’ve braced for it for years," Coleman wrote on social media at the time of the diagnosis.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, Fanconi anemia "increases your risk of cancerous tumors."
Coleman had been documenting Isaac's battle with cancer, revealing in late April that the teen was on hospice care.

Anyone with kids in the last ten years has no doubt experienced Danny Go! on YouTube. Prayers to his family.

My kids love Danny Go.
Its got to be hard to perform for children when your own went through cancer then death like this.
I hope he has a good support system and stays strong.

Same with my kids. My wife told me he had stopped doing them when they got the diagnosis. I’m sure he is pretty set money wise.

Danny Go has been my go-to when I need the kids to dance out some energy on rainy days. So sad to hear.

Absolutely gut wrenching. Imagine having to have a conversation with your own child about their terminal illness…I can’t even fathom.
I know this happens to a lot of people…And that this is just on the news because it’s Danny Go. But man, it’s hard to absorb the destruction and despair in this world…especially when it happens to good (and innocent in the case of his kid) people. I know there is a God that has a plan but these things certainly give me a pause and have me reconciling my faith.

I can’t even imagine the pain of a parent losing their child. I would be in a dark place if that happened.

This is so sad. I just found out not too long ago that he started the YouTube channel to help pay for medical bills. My kids love Danny Go. Prayers to the family.
