Everytime I turn on the Olympics its an Ad

Peacock makes me watch a 15 second ad only for the event to be on a commercial break when the peacock ad ends. Then the commercial break ends and there's no event happening, just the camera panning around the venue showing the crowd for 60+ seconds so I end up changing to another event and repeating the process. Wtf is going on

I’ve just been watching the gold zone and I haven’t had that issue.

Peacock does it for golf too. They get the ad revenue when you open the stream.

Peacock is awful with ads. I’m trying to watch the swimming events from earlier with my wife and trying to FFWD to the actual finals races. And every couple minutes or so we have to sit through two minutes of ads. It’s infuriating. I don’t mind some ads because I get it, but this is fricking ridiculous.

When you flip, right when the ad starts, I back out and go back in (that's what she says), there's no ad on reentry

I haven’t seen a lot of ads while casting via YouTubeTV to my TV. It was much more egregious in Rio back in 2016 when I was catching NBC streams from my desktop.
