There is a Corvair and a Karmann Ghia that are semi-regulars in my area.
They’re favorites of my Dad and Mom, respectively, so I make sure to tell them each time I see them around (the novelty wore off long ago).

Saw a mid to late jaguar 90s XJ just like this one yesterday in Baton Rouge. Can’t remember the last time I saw one of these in the wild. One of my favorite cars.
Also, I can go months or years without seeing a Pontiac, but once I set foot in southern Mississippi I’ll see at least one within the first 60 minutes

Somewhat unusual - standard cab late model Chevy and Ford 1/2 ton pickups.
New neighbor in the subdivision has first gen 300zx turbo. Been a long time since I had seen one in the wild.

No pics but seen that Jesus truck. Might be a Ford ranger but is 2 cabs. No truck bed.

A lot of our residents think they are Cadillacs

I see this bad boy around town.
Always wanted an el Camino. Still do.

I saw a cybertruck pulled over by LSP near Minden a few weeks ago.

Chrysler's TC by Maserati, in Cimarron NM. It had been sitting there a while or they weren't worried about a current registration.

Man there can’t be too many of those still around.

Fisker in all its lives was snakebit. Bankrupt and defunct now.
It started as a dream to bring back custom coach building initially on Merc and BMW chassis. That failed, and he started Fisker Automotive. They built more or less ground-up cars like the Tramonto. It was always rocky, but Hurricane Sandy destroyed a shipment of over 300 cars, and it pushed them into bankruptcy. He started over as Fisker Inc in 2024, which all went Pear shaped (inside joke for people who read the trade rags or are Fisker fans). I don't know if he will be able to rise from the ashes again but while I can't blame him for chasing his dreams, the automotive world lost what would have been a lot of great designs because he didn't remain working in the mainstream.

I saw an early 90’s Fox-Body Mustang over the weekend. Not a fully restored one or anything. Just one that looked 30+ years old but could tell it was really something in its heyday.
Pretty much like this except the bottom color was khaki instead of grey.
