JUST IN: Members of an Islamic sect have been arrested in the UK for slavery and forced marriages.
Over 500 police officers have raided the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light in Crewe, England.
Police say members were arrested for human trafficking, s*xual assault, r*pe, forced marriage, and modern-day slavery.
A total of six men and three women were arrested.
The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light (AROPL) is a religious sect that derives from Shia Islam and has charity status in the UK.
According to the Guardian, 150 people, 56 of them being children, live together in the gated property in Crewe.
The leader of the group is Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq, who claims to have been appointed by Muhammad.

It boggles my mind there are tens of millions of people in the West (and I’m including the US here) that are convinced it’s a good thing to import millions of Muslims. I can’t wrap my mind around how stupid one has to be to not see how bad of an idea this is.
