Have come to the conclusion that Culver’s is the best fast food burger place in America.
Never even heard of a Culver’s until a couple years ago but they are doing something right.

I won't believe in a recession until I drive by a Texas Roadhouse after 5pm and that fricker isn't packed out the front door.

Fast food turned to shite when they tried to make it healthy. It was never supposed to be healthy.
Fast Food used to be WAY healthier when they were using real ingredients.

Rarely dine out nowadays. When we do, $50+ for 2 for mediocre experience just bites.
Chilis 3 for me is a solid deal, I like the Big Smasher with a side salad and Arnold Palmer.

Same, Chili's really turned it around, 3 for me is damn good value, and a very solid burger.

I don’t really do restaurants anymore. I discovered I can cook better than most of them, and that’s the problem. I’m not really a great cook. I’m just okay.
The quality of food in restaurants these days is just okay (or worse) almost all the time. The only motivation I have to drop money in a restaurant is if it’s food that far exceeds anything I could do on my own.

They all get the exact same cheap arse ingredients from Sysco so it all tastes like the same bullshite, meanwhile prices continue to rise

CFA is still pretty good to me baw!
Used to be. It ain't what it once was. It, too, has gone down hill. Slower than some, for sure. Panera, for example, has fallen off a cliff.

2Js bar and grill on Forsyth Spaghetti is the best I’ve ever had. Steaks are great also.

Yea, i think the problem just naturally occurred once the cost of overhead (taxes, insurance, utilities, wages) exponentially exceeded the cost of the raw food materials. You're no longer paying for the food, you're paying for the experience and the service.
