We are literally surrounded by imbeciles and assholes.
Amazing that these people’s vote counts as much as mine.
If I could create a machine to round all of these people up at these rallies, I would. Then I would deposit them all into the deepest trench of an ocean.

It is fascinating to me the number of older people that just irrationally hate him. My mom is one of them. She can't stand Trump, but also talks about him like the people on the video when asked why.

I can remember, in 2016, a well-respected man who had personally recommended me for a position at his employer and who is a long-time Long Islander, had an irrational hate for Donald Trump and literally got to shouting at me when I suggested that he possibly had TDS. Mind you, Trump wasn't even elected, yet, but the hate was real and frankly, very disturbing to see an otherwise mild-mannered, professional business manager, a senior director, just absolutely lose his shite.

My mom actually backed up her hatred with talking points though. But it was exact like watching a Rachel Madcow rerun when listening to her. And when I debunked her MSNOW talking points, she got angry and started with the deflectionism and attacking me "for supporting literal Nazis".
That same exchange happened repetitiously over the course of a couple of years until I finally demanded that she stop bringing up politics because she always started the conversation but would end up with stroke-level blood pressure and screaming when she couldn't defeat my arguments. Thankfully she listened. We haven't talked politics even once since 2020 and it's been great.

Agreed. People got the time and money to do anything they want in a world of endless possibilities on this earth, but somehow the best they can do is rage about something they saw Trump did on facebook.

Remember when Trump came to Tuscaloosa earlier this year to speak at UA? Beto O’Rourke showed up to cheer on the protestors. There were estimated to be about 1000 of them. And I swear it seems like 90 % of them were wrinkled and gray.

Those same “old timers” have probably been protesting anything and everything they could possibly could and showing up to every protest they possibly could since they were 18. It’s likely just their identity. What a proud existence. Lol. Same deal as we’ll likely see from the younger generations that have faithfully shown up to every protest they have for the past decade or so. Gives their worthless asses a sense of self-worth.
