Niang has been to Baton Rouge but is back in Europe, playing with the Italian national team in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers. The Window 4 round ends on August 31.LSU agreed to him returning to Europe to play as they await an NCAA decision.

It's unclear if Dessert has been to Baton Rouge yet, but he is listed on the Anadolu Efes 26-27 roster. Reportedly, he has agreed to contract terms with the team for the upcoming season if he doesn't get NCAA clearance soon. I haven't seen anything indicating how long the team is willing to wait for his final decision.

Santos is basically radio silence.

Ruzik is in Baton Rouge working out with the team.

I said this was going to happen when it was announced that wade was mainly going after all over seas players.

I never understood why he didn't just make a roster of mostly American players and sprinkle in a few top over seas players.

Now they are having to scramble and get guys to even make a full roster.

Apparently, you don't know that Texas has a LAW that prohibits NIL deals involving HS players. Bottom line: Texas Tech is standing on NO LEGAL GROUND to have paid him anything.

That doesn't mean shite. Just look at who his agent is. His agent is on the deal for his house in Lubbock. They can get around that.

The purchase was made by the ‘J Brewster Living Trust’ on February 17th. His father, Robert, and agent, Derrick Shelby, are listed on the paperwork.

house deed

I still think lsu has a chance. Supposedly lsu has offered 1.5 for his first yr and tech was at 1 mil.

Check did not clear

I seriously doubt it's that.

Weren't people just writing him off and saying he doesn't have enough speed?

I know I wasn't.
Looks like a very smart player who will be in the right spot.

Doesn't look like he will get many sacks but will be in the right position at all times.

This is bullshite. My device and browser are right smack dab here in the US yet are still showing Gulf of Mexico when I search for a map of Louisiana. Does GOA correctly show for anyone? Here's what Google supposedly states as the reason I'm seeing GOM: If a Google Map of Louisiana still shows the "Gulf of Mexico," it is because your device, browser, or network location is recognized as being outside the United States, or your regional search settings are set to a different country

Who gives a frick
I forgot how crazy that story was. Thanks for posting the link.

Most defensive tackles take more time to develop than a lot of other positions. It doesn’t surprise me. He just needs to keep progressing

With McKinley it looked to be more about playing hard and wanting to put the work in to be great.

Is LSU planning to give Brewster equity in the school to outbid Tech?

I think Texas tech is going to do everything to keep Brewster, some of which they already have.

Sometimes it's too costly to buy out these nil deals. Tech has been paying him for a while.

Polk was definitely making the team if he would've stayed and performed like he was.

They gage up draft capital to have him sit all yr. That shows they actually liked him. He was performing well and can do things that  Ronnie bell or Austin can't.

Trey palmer has made some plays but they would've taken brown over him. And you also have Lance, who they really like.

It would've been
Olave
Tyson
Lance
Polk
Brown
Means/palmer
There were plenty of vets out there that the saints could've brought in.

I think they really like Lance and brown. Obviously they were happy with Tyson playing a huge role.

Everything would've been fine if Tyson didn't get hurt. Maybe they bring in a vet but it seems like they are ready to role with the young guys.

Polk was actually a sizeable loss with Tyson now being out. Polk had some of the same speed and yac as Tyson.

Will LSU fired Lame Kiffin if he loses to Texas A&M in a blowout?

Will truelefty graduate 5th grade spec?
Durham is plenty fast.

Sometimes when watching him it looks like he is running slower than he is.

A little too much weight and injuries are going to affect any player.

Durham has been banged up about 60% of his time at lsu. To me it seems like he is somewhat injury prone. He might be playing but he is always nicked up.
Maybe some people are overlooking how big it was to keep a guy like Charlie Weis Jr.

He interviewed with the eagles and lane said other teams were coming after him.

Just being able to have that same operation of kiffin, Weis, and quarterback in the first yr coming into a new team is huge.
You know that he has high football iq if he started on that Georgia defense for 3 years.

The saints needed someone like him to help in the run game. I love how he split that double team.

I think Broughton is going to surprise some people this yr.

Shocker. High risk high reward pick, you just knew it would happen at some point.

Hamstrings are the worse too. Never go away.

Tyson injured the same right hamstring that he had injured two times prior. So this is definitely a worry.

I was also high on downs but you can't just write Tyson off. Sometimes these specialists can figure out why certain players keep reinjuring their hamstrings.

In other news the patriots signed Greg van roten. Would've been a nice backup for the saints.

Austin was giving them the work today chalk

I like Austin. He plays hard and usually catches the ball. He is always running to block.

I think he will be a guy that gets called up if there is an injury.
