Is pederasty the most disturbing practice of ancient societies?

Here’s ChatGPT’s explanation of it.
“Pederasty is a term with historical and modern meanings, and it’s important to distinguish them:
* Historically (especially in ancient Greece):
It referred to a socially recognized relationship between an adult man and an adolescent boy. These relationships often combined mentorship, education, and sometimes a sexual component, and were part of certain cultural traditions at the time”
I mean WTF. There’s not many things creepier than an older man wanting a relationship with an adolescent boy in order to to give him “mentorship, education, and sometimes sexual components”. I’m so glad I live in the modern age and was not subjected to these things.
The practice of turning men into eunuchs is pretty disgusting and horrible as well.

I don’t know about most disturbing, but it would certainly rank pretty high up on the list.

Maybe. Human sacrifice is pretty bad. Did ancient societies practice abortion en masse?

Good point. That’s pretty bad too.

As best as we can tell, yes.

NAMBLA says, hello.
So does that Weiner dude in Cali that doesn't think underage boys being older homosexuals' boy toys is wrong.
It never went away.

Ancient?
We had a Green Beret get jammed up for trying to stop an Afghan from farking a young boy.

Bacha bazi is a pederastic practice in Afghanistan and in historical Turkestan, in which men exploit and enslave adolescent boys, sometimes for sexual abuse, and/or coerce them to cross-dress in attire traditionally only worn by women and girls and dance for entertainment.

Look up bacha bazi. Yet another wonderful thing practiced by Muslims today that should have died out millenniums ago.

Good foot health has always been important, especially before we domesticated the horse

People had a much different mindset 2000 years ago. Its not that hard to understand. I don't know why people keep applying modern logic to ancient thinking.

I think it was mostly associated with whorehouses. Likely some post birth.

Some warrior societies used to cut holes in people they killed in order to frick those holes, so while pederasty is gross, I won't say it's the most disturbing.

Postpartum, even.

The Incans, Carthaginians, Phoenicians, and others committed child sacrifice
Passover is a celebration when God told the enslaved Jews in Egypt to put the blood of a lamb (baby sheep) over the doorway so the Angel of Death wouldn't enter

It’s part and parcel with the ancient mystery religions along with child sacrifice and secret societies.
