The basketball team next year will be Cal's best so far at Arkansas as they will have guards that play defense and an improved frontcourt.

He had a chance to finish 9-4 in 2016 but blew 24-7 leads against Missouri and Virginia Tech.

The no child left behind which caused school district consolidations around the state in the early and middle 2000s.
That destroyed a lot of high schools in the Southeast part of the state that produced a decent amount of players.
