Saw my first real sovereign citizen in the wild today.

White Toyota Prius with some kind of plate that read something like "DOT tax exempt" across the top and big letters of "PRIVATE" across it.
They held true to their beliefs because they did an illegal U turn right in front of me. Let me get a glimpse of the idiot.
Thought it would be a 50 or 60 year old guy with a scraggly beard and missing teeth or something. Was actually a girl that looked to be in their 20's.
But not driving! Ohh no. Traveling.

If you are in doubt that uninsured motorist coverage is necessary on your vehicle, watch some of the SovCit vids on YouTube. These folks are on another level of mentally unbalanced.

It’s really amazing how fricking stupid some people believe that “I’m not engaged in commerce so I don’t need a DL, insurance or registration.” Dumbasses turn minor traffic offenses into multiple felony charges most of the time.

Well she was in a private means of conveyance being used for non commercial purposes so it's not illegal.

I know a guy who tried it for a tax evasion charge. He was a chiropractor in BR and fled to Panama but got extradited and got 3 years I think. Dumbass.
