add in that 19 blue states along with DC are suing to keep it legal to transition children and we may well have a big winner

that lawsuit needs to be a focal point of GOP ads

Trump’s commercials about “Kamala is for THEY/THEM, Trump is for YOU” was the most powerful marketing of the last election

We need to put our foot on the gas and hammer that point

What about players that have a season ending injury early in the season?

I did address that in the OP - treated differently, they get paid the full contract

Ok, let's think about it. If you're going pro, do you think 25% NIL money and the risk of getting hurt compares to a NFL contract?
probably not, but there needs to be a kicker that requires the player to fulfill his part of the bargain

boosters pay out NIL money for a player to represent their school

It's like some of you have no conception of how a market actually works.
1 finger pointing at me and 4 back at yourself

Did you miss the part where I said this only works if every school does it?

and that is exactly how the markets work in the real world
the absolute vitriolic response to DOGE oversight was very telling
quote:

You opt out you lose 25% of all your NIL from all sources.
that actually seems more fair than my 50% example

There needs to be some kind of heavy penalty for opt outs
just a thought — NIL contracts ought to be structured in a way where the players get paid 1/12th of 50% of their contracts during the season with 50% getting paid out AFTER their schools last game of the season as a bonus

Example: player contract is for $120,000

they get paid $5,000 per game during the season and get the remaining balance of $60,000 after either a) their team’s last regular season game or b) after their teams bowl game IF they participate

My job is commission based, and that is very similar to how I get paid (I get 50% of my earned commission when a sale is made and the last 50% when the project is completed and paid for)

This would only work if every school agrees and does the same

I’m pretty sure structuring like this would pass legal muster

obviously, injuries would not count against a player, but outside of that, players need to be forced to honor their side of contracts

anyone else have ideas that might work?

Yeah you’re not a dickrider or anything.
we can start calling him bandwagon :dunno:

I had a buddy that was a big Cowboys and Yankees fan, kind of annoying…

Anybody who reports cash tips is doing life wrong.

restaurants are required to report your sales and the government calculates how much you should make in tips

they spend WAY MORE TIME going after the working class because that's where the real money is for them...

Tech
seems to be their kryptonite...
just think, BYU came in ranked #12 team in the CFP rankings

did they really deserve to be in the playoffs over James Madison, Tulane??

or Texas and Vandy???

Does it look like this is going to actually happen before the mid terms?
unfortunately doubtful

Next question: toasted or untoasted?

toasted and it’s not even close

and old school, NO FROSTING, but use melted butter on top - do they even make them unfrosted anymore :dunno:
