He also tried to steal base last night and got out while trying to steal when the pitch before that flew off the catcher's glove 20ft. off rolling away and he had no awareness to immediately jump on that for a free base. There's no way that catcher would've got him out there if he had any kind of awareness to jump as soon as they came off the catcher's glove. I don't want to dog on players, but that guy is just not good at baseball. The catcher had to get up, run to the ball in the dirt, and then he would've had to turn around and make a perfect throw to 2nd. I don't care if that was Serna on base he probably could've easily made that trip to 2nd.
