AAU ball has ruined or at least significantly hampered the TEAM aspect of USA basketball. The world has definitely caught up.

Is it? I'm all about supporting USA athletes but Lebron is a literal paid mouthpiece of china. While I'd love to get more USA gold metals I can see why many folks, including myself, would try to find a silver lining in the fact that lebron would have lost. frick that dude.

Many people saw the US boatrace Serbia in the preliminary stages and assumed it would happen again.
But that sometimes happens in basketball. Serbia was always going to be a tough out if Jokic played the whole game. They've been a completely different team when he's on the bench.

Yep. Sometimes you need a moment that wakes you the frick up. This team losing might just be a necessary attention getter.

I'm very concerned with the US defense. They aren't fighting through screens, even though they have tremendous depth.
On offense, the US is way too comfortable with easy 3 point attempts. They should've prioritized getting Jokic in foul trouble from the jump.
