Questions about Basketball Season Tickets

Admittedly I’ve never been an LSU basketball fan through and through. I really stopped watching basketball all together after Jordan hung it up when I was a kid. But my kids play and really like basketball. So I’d like to go ahead and jump on the bandwagon and buy LSU basketball season tickets. I assume they are easier to get than baseball. So a few questions.
A- Can you choose where your tickets are?
B- If given the choice, where is a good place to try and sit for 4?
C- What is parking like and how hard is it to get out? (Like baseball the simplest, easiest parking is old front 9)
D- Are tickets already on sale and how readily available do you think they will be?

Not much to choose from ticket wise. If you want to hit games on weekends only, save money and buy tickets on seat geek. You pay more per ticket but overall spend less. Plus you get TAF priority points when you buy through Seat Geek.

Thank you.
Talk to me more about these TAF priority points. Do these accumulate for all sports? Because I’ve bought every single baseball ticket I’ve ever bought on seat geek and I have a TAF account. I do not know anything about these points you speak of. I sure as hell hope these are retroactive but I’m not lucky enough for that I’m sure.

I don’t know what that guy was talking about bc this is total BS
Here’s what you need to know about PP. You can look up your account on lsusports. That determines when you get to select your season tickets. I don’t think it is too late to request season tickets for basketball (maybe it is? I think you make selections later in the summer)
TAF Priority points
MBB Season tickets
I’m not seeing the link to request on the website so I would call (225) 578-2184 to speak with an LSU Ticket Sales representative now.

I’m aware of the priority points. I would love for them to be retroactive and tied to seat geek. I’d easily be where I need to be if so. But I don’t think that a thing.
I donated a few years ago, what I thought was a substantial amount to taf to try and get baseball season tickets. I wasn’t even close to what it’s actually going to cost to outright buy season tickets. I don’t think the philanthropic level got below 1749 if I remember correctly. Doing the math on what that level equates to, is way past reasonable. Likewise I had a thread about it and it was basically explained to me it would take about $90k in donations to get the opportunity to purchase and no telling where those seats might have been.
I was hoping bball season tickets are much easier to get.

You could also call the ticket office. 225.578.2184 or 800.960.8587.

New Season Tickets
A new season ticket request list is available during the summer each year with a priority deadline of June 1. New tickets are assigned at a later date using LSU Philanthropic Priority Point rankings as of June 30th. Any season tickets remaining after requests are filled go on sale to the public in early September.

It is not a thing, if you aren’t actually paying donations through season tickets or fees. The points will not be there, my points alone from having east sideline football tickets for the last 5 years still put me in the bottom tier with the amount of money being thrown around.
I tried to get them last year, very little selection in lower bowl (I’m assuming TAF and seat geek held back/purchased a ton). If selection is like anything close to football, which I imagine with WW coming back, all good seats will be bought up by people with the highest status.

Thank you sir. Have to wait until Monday to call. I was really hoping they are much easier to get than baseball as you and I discussed a few months back. I appreciate the info though.
I was really just hoping to get a positive response from everyone like “oh yeah basketball season tickets are super easy to get” or “you’ll have your pick of the litter”. And these responses also be true.

Yeah I didn’t think so. I donate to a few of the niche baseball funds and I donate outright to TAF. But it’s nowhere near the 1749 level it was for baseball tickets last year. Just have to get richer or go broker I guess.
