What is hilarious is that person apparently has an PHD in Australia in break dancing!

Why did the Australian Olympic Committee (or whatever it's called) allow this?
Even if they didn't have anybody else to compete in the event, why would they allow somebody that ridiculously bad?

It's like me getting a PHD in basketball. It doesn't make me a good basketball player.
This is progressivism in a nutshell. These people think life is like acting. You can choose a role. They created a ridiculous "science" and then convinced themselves it made them an expert.
In a similar way, they will ignore qualifications, performance, intelligence, etc. and just put the "right" people into important jobs (ex: women in the Secret Service). You end up with a bunch of incompetent women trying to perform tasks they aren't capable of doing.
It has infested our medical industry. We haven't yet seen the fallout of that I don't think.
It has infested our military. We haven't paid that bill yet either.

All I can find is still photos of the dance routine. One YouTuber said his video was taken down and he did another one with hope YouTube will not take it down and all he showed was still photos of the dance. I guess showing the actual video is considered hate speech or too traumatic for YouTube viewers to watch.

No, but there's more to basketball than the physical ability to play the game. You'd be an expert on the Xs and Os.
This dancer is like a 50 something NBA coach who tries to compete in the All-Star game.

No, NBC makes YouTube take it down. They're fiercely guarding footage from the Olympics.

Because a joke of an event that had quite literally no business being in the Olympics deserves nothing more than a competitor taking it as a joke.

Peacock has the full replay of the qualifying and finals, but apparently the event replays are only going to be up for a limited time. Said "only 8 hours left to watch" when I just pulled it up on the app.

She apparently won the inaugural World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) Oceania Breaking Championships last year, which automatically earned her a spot.
I read that the WDSF is primarily known for ballroom dancing, and initially wanted to get that into the Olympics. But, they knew that the IOC wants young viewers, and ballroom dancing wouldn't draw them in. SSo WDSF found out there was not an international governing body for breaking and took it upon themselves to start overseeing it. They created the rules, the judging, and started having regional competitions, and were then able to get the IOC to approve it.

If you have Peacock her battle against the US competitor is 29 minutes into the Women's Qualification round. Go to Breaking on the All Sports tab.
