I recently found the Snippet Tool (on pc = windows+shift+s). For the past several decades, I've been print screen/ paste in word or similar/ crop it down to area I want/ copy and past to the email/document.

What a dumb frick.

ETA: As a last resort, press and hold the power button and call it a day.

windows+L to lock the computer

Maybe it is better know than I know, but I found it a couple years ago and the time it has saved vs clicking windows logo then power and scrolling to the lock added up every time I have walked away from my PC is one of the best I've found.

Ctrl Z is the one everyone knows and reverses the last action. The lesser known is ctrl Y which does the opposite.

Windows + r = pulls up run command

If you know program names you can quickly open things.

Windows + r - type in calc pulls up calculator
Mspaint pulls up paint
Snippingtool
Cmd is command prompt
Control opens control panel

Windows key + V gives you a list your past copy and paste... Great for when fighting the battles on X...

Also if using Chrome there is an extension called Smooth Zoom... Awesome for when there is small type or anything you want to zoom in on.. Hold right click and use wheel to zoom in...
