I actually think Bale will do a great job as Al, but Cage looks/sounds just like himself as Madden.
It's a nice gesture, but it feels like something that should be done on a Saturday or Sunday during the day rather than a random Wednesday night going deep into the AM.
Am I missing something?

177–88 record as a head coach, a Mountain West championship, two Pac 12 championships, defensive-minded like they love there, no scandals, 10-2 this season.

Is it his age? I'd hire him today and not look back.

Honestly not sure any of those guys are.

He looks fricking homeless in this one.
The abuse from his tutor sounds horrifying.

quote:

In 2021, Ransone came forward as a sexual abuse survivor.

The actor said that his former tutor, Timothy Rualo, sexually abused him numerous times at his childhood home in Phoenix, Maryland, over the course of six months in 1992.

Ransone made the accusation public by posting a lengthy note on Instagram that he sent his alleged sexual abuser.

“We did very little math,” Ransone recalled. “The strongest memory I have of the abuse was washing blood and feces out of my sheets after you left. I remember doing this as a 12 year old because I was too ashamed to tell anyone.”

The alleged abuse led to a “lifetime of shame and embarrassment” for Ransone, who told Rualo his actions propelled him to become an alcoholic and a heroin addict.

Not tonight, no. But if the Ravens lose, they can clinch next week by beating the dogshit Browns.

We love that SOB here.

I’ll admit to making fun of him pretty hard after the “Duuuvalll” press conference.

Refs aren’t out here totally whiffing on basic tackles. Or fumbling easy handoffs.

This Jags team looks legit. Coen is putting on a masterclass.
Every now and then an occasional G6 squad could put together a good resume (like those old Utah, Boise, and UCF teams), but it should be reserved for special teams like those. Not schmucks like this JMU team.

I don't understand the hate for this dude. What did he do? I know he started out as a youtuber but he seems like a good guy. Goes out of his way for people, seems sensible even after getting knocked in the head a lot. I don't get it.

frick it, I'll ride with this opinion too.

Dude genuinely seems to love boxing, got in the ring with an Olympian and former HW champion, and got his jaw broken in two places. No matter how cocky he is, that's admirable.
That blonde in the stands was absolute fire.
I don't think actual college football fans who enjoy competition would "look down" on a G6 playoff like some people keep saying on social media. I don't know anybody who looks down on the FCS playoffs and they're fricking awesome.

It's not about "demoting" G6 schools, it's about creating a competitive environment where there's a more even playing field. From a money standpoint, I'm sure JMU would rather lose 65-0 to Oregon in the CFP than win a G6 playoff, and that's understandable, but from a competition and fandom perspective, I'd much rather have closer, more exciting games.

Sounds like he got to see all of his son's successes this year though. Lost my dad three years ago and still think about him all the time, especially this time of year.

But does anyone think they have a snowball’s chance in hell?

Absolutely, simply because I think Jon Sumrall is a better coach than Pete Golding. And with this much time to prepare and a previous game to correct mistakes on, I think they can definitely keep it close. I wouldn't pick them, but it wouldn't shock me if they won.

And if on the off chance that a G6 team wants their way into an at large bid (no conference title bs) they can play with the big boys if they so choose.

I think this part would make a G6 playoff a good idea. It doesn't necessarily eliminate you from the CFP if you're legitimately deserving (like those old Utah, Boise, and UCF teams). Otherwise, a G6 playoff featuring those top teams would be a lot of fun. I do wish they'd be on-campus games instead of weird neutral sites, but we'd have to cross that bridge when we got there.
quote:

Bowl Season executive director Nick Carparelli, whose organization oversees the scheduling of bowl games, tells Front Office Sports that bowl game operators would support facilitating a Group of 6 playoff.

“We’re in constant dialogue with all the conferences and the consistent message is: We are here to serve the game of college football, like we have for a long, long time,” Carparelli says. “So, if the Group of 6 were to want to put together a series of bowl games that determine some type of champion, in their group, we would be excited to be a part of that conversation.”

Carparelli believes providing neutral postseason sites, like most other NCAA sports have, is paramount. “When you get to that level, having a competitively fair, neutral site environment is very important,” he says.

Meetings between the 10 FBS conferences and Bowl Season execs about the 2026 landscape and beyond will take place sometime after the Jan. 20 CFP national championship game.
