Look, I don’t care if we have to blow up a hospital like the joker did as long as we dominate and let the world know LSU is the best and can’t be touched.
It’s LSU vs the world. Nobody should care what outsiders think as long as we win

How many season tickets do you have, how much do you pay for them, and how many games have you actually attended in the last 5 years?
I had two season tickets for a decade. Had to drop them when we moved. Went to every game only donated the tickets sometimes for the low tier OOC games.
What’s your point? You’re still a sell out with no integrity for just selling them to an over paying visiting fan.

However, that will be a very tough road environment, obviously. It will be loud from whistle to whistle. The team will get berated on and off the bus. shite will be thrown at them. They are some angry elves in Oxford.
Kiffin is going to run up the score on them. I have no doubt.

Yay we get to see them pump up the ole miss football program as if they’re a blue blood and treat Oxford like it’s the God’s gift to earth.
Can’t wait for the media to pretend ole miss is historically on the same level as LSU, Georgia and Bama just because they had a decent run over the past 5 seasons with a good HC.
Going to be great to hear all about how the grove is so special and it’s a CFB delight right up there with all of the other great traditions.
Give me a freaking break. It’s pompous rednecks in their Sunday best under a tent with a chandelier eating cold chicken tenders and drinking out of bedazzled red solo cups bragging about how they’re so much academically superior to their peers in the SEC when in reality we all know it’s a total joke.
Ole miss fans are by and far the biggest joke in the SEC. Anyone who’s been around them for a number of years knows this. They think they’re better than everyone it’s pathetic.
They think they’re true southern cultured class it’s hilarious. Trust me I’ve been around them enough and State fans are 100x better to be around. They’re some of my favorite opposing fans even when they beat LSU which is rare.

The asking prices I’ve seen in my section for Clemson or A&M could cover my tickets for the season.
You’re the problem!
This mindset is exactly why I started the thread because Longhorn fans will definitely pay the price to check this off their bucket list.
That plus the fact that Texas never comes to BR and the fan bases overlapping big time. There is A lot of interaction among Tiger and Longhorn fans.
I just hate how easy our so called fans sell out for money. These types have zero integrity.

Nah man go back and watch the replay. The stadium had a ton of red sprinkled throughout.

There was an assload of Aggy fans in the stadium. I was in the stadium club and I had never seen that many visiting fans in our premium seats.
Those bastards have been running their mouths nonstop since that game. They all swear Death Valley is overrated and they love to point out how Marcel Reed dominated them and their fans took over the stadium.
Very very low point in the past 25 years at home games. Hard to think of many more.

A few recent examples that come to mind are 18 Georgia, 22 Tennessee and 25 A&M.
These stand out big time. I vividly remember seeing a sea of red, orange and maroon all over the entire stadium.
I really don’t want to see it again in November with Texas coming to town. I mean come on folks stop selling your tickets to away fans. I’d rather see an empty stadium than one full of visiting fans. It’s so embarrassing

You’re right…it feels like Deer Park…unless you enjoy basking in the glow of the lights from the towers at PEMEX or breathing in the smoke from pygas storage tanks burning at ITC…I’ll stick to only spending 9 hours of my day here.
That’s a bit dramatic. It’s not even that excessive. It definitely beats cookie cutter ville full of hermit transplants that majority of Houston has become.

I live in Kingwood and just took a new job by the Galleria. I just get up at 4 to lift down here before work and then go to a golf simulator place or train jits after work until the traffic dies around 7. I am never at home anymore except on weekends. Probably gonna run into Jodie one day.
Why do people live like this? That sounds completely awful.
Maybe it’s just me but I actually like being at my house and I love being with my family. I seek the least amount of time in public as possible.
Dude just move to where your work is. That’s pathetic.

Ooof deer park is the hood and all decent areas are a pretty far drive
So off base.
Deer Park isn’t nearly as rough as Pasadena. There’s definitely good areas in DP. South Pasadena is decent around Beltway/Fairmont areas. La Porte is decent along 146. Anything along 225 in Pasadena and DP is pretty rough.
DP has a badass Cajun restaurant. Guidry’s. There’s also several other Cajun spots in the area. It’s a real blue collar town with down home working class folks. Doesn’t feel like a Houston generic suburb at all. There’s definitely money running around there but it doesn’t have that pretentious vibe like you get from River oaks.
If you’re willing to branch out some, Friendswood, Clearlake and Webster are good for families. Mont Belvieu is the big booming new spot on the eastern side overall. Depends on how far you’re willing to go.
I don’t hate that area at all. There’s plenty of businesses around there and the economy is always strong.

Everywhere you look people can’t stop talking about this game. Building it up to be this massive game of the century-like game.
Part of me thinks LSU walks in there and just destroys them the same way Saban teams used to crush dreams.
Golding as a HC isn’t getting talked about enough. The guy was a decent DC I guess but he’s been on record as never wanting to be a HC. Ole Miss clearly panicked and hired him without truly searching for anyone else.
Couple that with Weiss coming with Lane, I just don’t think ole Miss can handle this. They have the game at home so that’s going for them but still I just get the feeling things get lopsided in this one.
Wait for it. LSU will steamroll Clemson. Louisville will knock off ole miss. This game will still have energy but it won’t be like people are hyping it up to be.
Ran out their building. That’ll be the Sunday headline. Saban style.

re: What alternate uniforms does Kiffin roll out?
Posted by turnpiketiger on 8/16/26 at 5:19 pm to nicholastiger
Ole Miss always had the baby blue helmets. They only wore them on occasion though. It wasn’t a Lane thing.
That being said, we aren’t doing any bs alternates. Although I do like the all
Whites in some games. Can’t be vs a traditional sec opponent though. So not vs ole miss, bama, Auburn, Tennessee, Kentucky Arkansas or State
Wear them vs expansion teams like tamu or Texas
