Too many places. If you're there for 2 weeks, pick 4 major spots and spend 3-4 days at each.

If you go to Spain, see if they are running the bulls in Pamlona. Best time of my life. They make Mardis Gras look like the county fair. Everything in Spain is pretty cheap too.

The Eastern block is really good value. Your money is generally more valuable and there's just as many cool places to go as the rest of Europe.

If you're going to Croatia might as well check it out on the way

Plan on going for two weeks this summer.

Since you're going in the summer I would just go straight to the coast. Dubrovnik is sweet but pricey. You could hit up a bunch of places in order just going down the highway along the coast. Split, Makarska, Dubrovnik are all pretty close. Hvar and brac are just a short ferry ride away. Bus is cheap and goes from town to town but you might have to do some walking.

Again, makarska is pretty cool and most people outside of the balkans don't know about it. It's not very big and you can walk the whole place in like 2 hours but it's pretty sweet. They have a beach bar on one end that's awesome during the day and then the opposite end is good at night.

And if you go to dubrovnik, there's a small island just off the coast that has a pretty cool Lake in the middle of it that you can swim in and jump off of some cliffs into it. I forgot what it's called though but it would be something worth checking out.

Also I know you might be interested in some soccer. Dinamo and/or Hajduk could be doing champions league qualifying in July

Just a general comment here, if I'm landing in Germany and I'd never been to Europe before, see some Germany and then maybe Prague then head to Italy. That burns up at least two weeks easily. What's the fixation with Croatia? Cool? Yes. Scenic? Yes. Nice folks there? Yes. But Italy has all that and more. Maybe you care about different things and value seeing something specific but I'd go plenty of other places in Europe first before Croatia. Many parts of Germany are simply stupendous.

Two weeks alone is Spain done right, maybe Portugal too if you push.

White people. Smdh.

Croatia will be flooded with tourists during the summer (especially Dubrovnik and Plitvice). If you want to head somewhat off the beaten path, check out the Town of Sibenik. It's between Zadar and Split. There's lots of history and the Season 5 of Game of Thrones should be filmed there. Krka is also right next door. If you like beaches head to Primosten 28 km south.

Sibenik Tourist Board also made a badarse promotional video with a drone.

Don't worry. Both of those guys and their enormous amount of self-perceived worth are still around.

I'll start a Houston thread on the MSB and he'll be there within 3 minutes. It's his bat signal.

I have a friend that is taking the Grand Europe Tour on one of the river cruise lines. He said it is 14 days and he visits 5 or 6 countries. The best thing about is that he never has to unpack and all the meals are included plus some excursions. I am waiting on his return to see if that is how we visit Europe

WTF is with these tiny, one lane roundabouts in the US? They serve no purpose, except to encourage accidents.
